NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers say that while there’s never a dull day in a town like Salem, some people have better days than others. When it comes to Brady Black, his portrayer Eric Martsolf says that his character’s substance abuse problems were a storyline that he’ll never forget. That’s not because it was so difficult on Brady, but also because it gave Eric an opportunity to portray him in a way that he didn’t have an opportunity to do so before. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the handsome actor told the publication, “Brady’s addiction, when he was at the height of his addiction to cocaine and alcohol. It was a beautiful and hard story to tell. I’d been waiting for that acting vehicle in the genre for a long time. When they finally gave it to me, I was extremely happy.”

Thankfully, Brady’s dark days as in the past, but things have still been rather complicated, messy, and dramatic for him in recent weeks. With the revelation that Baby Mickey is actually his biological daughter Baby Rachel and with his love Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) stabbing Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and being as hellbent as she is on getting her revenge on those who have done her wrong, we have a feeling that Brady won’t be getting a good night’s rest anytime soon. Needless to say, ‘Days of Our Lives’ fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
