NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers tease that fans will soon be learning much more about Jake Lambert and perhaps the reason why he decided to make his way to Salem. In fact, Brandon Barash, who plays the character on the hit NBC soap, says that while Jake and Stefan DiMera might look like identical twins, they certainly are two very different people. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soaps.com in a new interview, Brandon explains, “They are really not very similar. I think those two characters are very black and white. Stefan was always idealistic and down to his core — he was this corporate raider, no BS, tough businessman, who fancied himself a family man. When it came down to it, Stefan wasn’t made of the stuff to make a good family man.”

What’s more, Brandon says that while Jake might be someone who is looking to settle down and become ‘domesticated’ so to speak, there’s always something or someone who gets in the way of his dreams.
The handsome actor added, “Jake wants that, but he makes bad choices. He’s acting out of a good place, but makes these peripheral choices that come back to bite him in the ass. So that’s a similar thing that they share — they are both well-intentioned in their minds and can make poor decisions as a result of that.”
With that said, it appears as though Jake might be more of Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) type. A lot of fans have even noticed that Gabi has already been ‘clashing’ with Jake the same way she clashed with Stefan in the beginning, but that just happens to be her style of romance, right? Ha!
