CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For May 20: The Winters Come To Devon’s Rescue
It took some effort, but the Winters and the zoo guard finally tracked down where Devon Hamilton (Bryton James)’s been trapped in the lion’s cage. They found him frozen in fear (Seriously, who wouldn’t be?) with the lion eyeing him like a tasty snack.

Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) jumped into the enclosure and stood between Devon and the lion. While the lion was distracted by its latest Happy Meal delivery, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) jumped in when he saw Devon was too scared to move and pulled him to safety. After escaping from the enclosure and everyone was safe and thanks were offered, Malcolm and Neil started messing around, teasing each other. It was nothing more than relieving stress that their stunts worked, but it took a dangerous turn when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) lost control of the car she and Devon were in and hit Neil, sending him into the snow. Talk about rotten luck and evil writers. They couldn’t wait for the next episode before causing some more mayhem.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For May 20: It’s A Bit Of A Problem
This brings to light one of our two main complaints about these theme weeks. The continuity is shot to crap as we now have to look up the surrounding episodes to find out what happens or hope some website has them up. CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers has been saying since the beginning that this is the perfect chance to relaunch SOAPnet or another soap opera channel where we can watch all the old episodes while the new ones are shown on network television. It gives the old fans something to watch that’s not readily available, and it offers a chance for the new fans to be drawn into the history of the shows and characters we’ve all come to love.
We’ve heard how they hope to rejuvenate the genre with The Story of Soaps special, but they seem to be missing the opportunity to do just that by showing older episodes (not just the last few years like a couple have) to draw us and others in. But then, why would they want to take the risk when they hope others will support them? Should a centralized channel or website be started showing all the older episodes and shows? Let us know in the comments, and remember to check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
