As the future King Of England, Prince Charles has always wanted to spend as much time as possible with his grandchildren and of course his grandson Prince George, seeing how the young tyke will one day take the throne. But instead of learning how to hunt and shoot in Scotland with his grandfather, he’s been spending most of his time with his grandmother Carole Middleton at the Middleton Manor instead.
British Royal Family News: Carole Middleton Causing Royal Friction At Birthday Parties?
Apparently, Carole has taken on a very prominent role in her grandchildren’s lives so much so that she is the one who is planning all of their birthday parties, surprises and holiday fun. According to Britain’s Express.co.uk, Prince George’s 3rd birthday party was even something of an awkward affair when Prince Charles felt out of place at the fete. That’s because Carole was in charge of the entire celebration, leaving Charles and some other members of the royal family feel like second-tier guests.
While it’s long been known that Carole Middleton has a very close relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Charles is hoping that will one day change, not only for the sake of their mutual grandchildren, but for the monarchy as well. But with Carole taking charge and spending so much time with Prince George and his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, that might not happen anytime soon.
