Univision Sin Miedo a la Verdad spoilers indicate Nico (Ricardo Franco) is in a bad situation. In the Tuesday episode, he already had a problem with the recently-released General Brigadier Mora (Anna Ciocchetti). But that is nothing compared to the ethical situation he’s now in. Let’s take a look at what happened, and how this is likely to be his undoing.

Univision Sin Miedo a la Verdad Spoilers: Obsessed

So, it’s been no secret that Nico has a thing for Andrea Loera (Jackie Sauza). Sin Miedo a la Verdad spoilers indicate that he seems a bit creepy, too. He was using a picture of her as a bookmark. Plus, he got into a fight with Manuel “Manu” Montero (Álex Perea) over her. When Andrea went missing, we thought he was to blame. We were right.

At the end of Monday’s episode and during Tuesday, we saw the situation play out in flashbacks after a big reveal where he held her captive. It turns out, he’d broken in and knocked her out, then set the scene up to look like a huge fight took place. After, we can only assume he was the one who sent the text claiming she’s fine. So far, he’s had it made.

While everyone else is working to help the country and find Andrea, he’s taking advantage of her weakened state. It’s a sickening display, but it looks like he just got some karma from the Telenovelas Gods.

Univision Sin Miedo a la Verdad Spoilers: Quandary

See, Horacio Escamilla (Fermín Martínez) is still out there. Sin Miedo a la Verdad spoilers indicate this long-time thorn in Manu’s side (and the country’s) orchestrated his own escape and has been working on the downlow. Nico’s actions just handed him a huge weapon. When he learned Andrea went missing, he took advantage. Using some old audio, he doctored a message from her claiming Horacio had her and would kill her if his demands weren’t met.

At the same time, it seems Mora was already suspicious of Nico. Just before the message came to Area 16, she’d questioned him about Andrea. It’s obvious she thinks he did it. However, now there’s audio proof of the contrary and Nico’s heard it. He looks completely uncomfortable right now, and we wonder how long it’ll take his sense of duty to protect the country from this guy to overpower his obsession with Andrea.

Univision Sin Miedo a la Verdad Spoilers: What’s next

He better choose fast. Manu is desperate to find her, and he will likely do whatever it takes to save his love. The longer this carries on, the worse it’ll be when Manu learns the truth. Plus, whatever Horacio wants would have devastating effects for the country, and them as well. Ending this as fast as possible might be the only prayer he’s got of saving his skin.
