NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that when Dr. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) removed the chip from now Steve Johnson (Steven Nichols) she kept saying that she had cut into his frontal lobe and was afraid that she had destroyed his personality and memories. However, the frontal lobe of the brain is in the front of the brain! Not the back of the brain as this surgery was clearly being performed on!!! Perhaps there is a weird workaround she found, maybe she had a tiny pair of robot arms that she sent up there with a camera, but anyone who’s studied an anatomy book clearly knows that that is not where the frontal lobe of the brain is!

Maybe that is why Dr. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans)‘s beating herself up so much. Maybe she had just had one of those days where she had had nothing but brain surgery after brain surgery and she accidentally cut open the wrong part of his brain and just decided, “We’ll just go with it.” and just poked around in the until she found the frontal lobe. Okay, that’s probably an incredibly medically inaccurate thing to do but if tubes and instruments can be left inside of people, why not? That may be why she feels so guilty.
NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will this be the reason Patch doesn’t return to normal?
Well, it looks like he’s awake and Steve “Patch”Johnson isn’t back yet which is just unfortunate because that is what everyone thought would happen after the chip was removed. But he says that everything is like a fog to him. He doesn’t remember being Steve Johnson (Steven Nichols), or Stefano, in fact for a minute there it didn’t even seem like he remembered being human. When he said “What’s that?” it got me worried for a minute there, not going to lie. It would’ve been funny if he’d started shouting in binary code instead of talking like a human being, but sadly no one thought about that comedic gold moment. Although, maybe that would’ve been a bit traumatic for Kayla, we don’t want to make Marlena’s job of counseling harder than it already is. But the question is, did Kayla truly screw up and did she truly do some irreversible damage to his brain? Or is this just another horrific trick by Stefano and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay)?
NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Could Steve come back wrong?
Right now, Steve is blissfully unaware of who he is. But what if this hypnosis that they’re doing triggers something, something that was programmed into him by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay), a failsafe of the chip, that makes him go haywire? There’s always that possibility. It looks like for now, Marlena is on the right track and just gently pressing in any kind of direction that she can for spare memories lurking around in Steve’s brain. Who knows, it could just be a product of all the swelling? But what if there was a memory that made him turn into Rambo Squad Steve and take out his rage on anyone he was near? That could always happen. Let’s hope for the best though… hopefully Steve will come back soon. Stay tuned!!!
