The exclusive sneak peek posted by TV Insider this afternoon has viewers wondering if Michael has an epiphany in his relationship with Meka. The couple’s marriage has obviously developed on a weak foundation. Communication skills, empathy, and wavering trust have been major issues for Meka. Michael has been caught in an array of lies, such as where he is employed (if at all), how much money he makes, and where he has traveled. Meka also feels that Michael does not consider her feelings or wants.

In the clip, Michael and Meka sit down with MAFS experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Vivana Coles, and Pastor Calvin Roberson. It appears that Michael is in the hot seat, and he uses this opportunity to admit his poor choices. Michael says: “I think for me, what I realized… You as an individual person have habits that are not necessarily things you can carry on into a marriage.”
Meka and the experts all nod in agreeance with his admission. Michael goes on to state: “The mistakes I made several times was that the habits that I had as an individual, that were comfortable for me, were not going to work being in this marriage. And so, that was my default.” We see a smile from Meka. These words appear to give her some reassurance. It is difficult to tell with the brevity of the clip whether Meka is feeling reassured about Micahel or finds comfort in knowing the marriage’s failure was not her fault.
