EastEnders Spoilers finds that it has been a testing number of months for Whitney Dean, as she has been forced to spend time behind bars after killing Leo King in self-defence. Leo had been making Whitney’s life a living misery and was stalking her through a hideout spot in her loft. Fortunately, she was granted bail recently after Gray Atkins managed to find the spot and used it as evidence that Whitney was protecting herself.

However, Shona McGarty who plays Whitney has teased that things may not immediately end in a good way for Whitney. She urged fans not to expect a happy ending for the soap favourite as there is still a huge twist in store over the coming weeks.

EastEnders Spoilers: Leo’s Mother Returns To Walford

Whitney’s confidence of escaping prison time will be halted next week, as Leo’s mother makes a stunning return to Walford. Her return will have an impact on Whitney, as she will continuously try and plead the innocence of her son without knowing the true facts. Whitney will be overcome with emotion and will look for support from those closest to her.

Gray will be fuming that Leo’s mother is trying to get involved in the case, and will threaten legal action against her if she doesn’t stop berating Whitney. The situation between Michaela and Whitney continues to escalate over the following episodes, but will Gray be able to keep Whitney’s nerves in check as the trial moves closer?

EastEnders Spoilers: Whitney Thinks That She Is Going To Prison

When Whitney was released on bail, she could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, the emergence of Michaela begins to cloud her judgement. She can’t help but feel guilty that Leo is dead, but Gray and Chantelle reiterate that she was only protecting herself.

Later in the episode next week, Whitney admits to Sonia Fowler that she now can’t see anything other than prison time. Could Whitney be sentenced for murder? Viewers will have to continue watching the soap to see if she will be able to escape prison.
