CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as beaten Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and taken Newman Enterprises. For now. Victor promises he has something up his sleeve but that’s yet to be seen. However, what’s odd to me and what Adam will even do with Newman Enterprises. I understand he wants it for the attention and prestige, but as Victor said, he has money, a beautiful child and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). What would he want with the company?
Is he going to do what Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) thinks and dismantle it piece by piece to prove a point, entirely change its view and position or what? Is he really going to go into that CEO office every day for 8-12 hours a day and work making deals and signing papers? Unlikely.
CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: What Will Adam Even Do With The Company?
This is obviously just a petty, revenge move. I know a lot of you just went, “Duh!”, but it seems a bit excessive. Even for Adam. Why go through all this work and trouble just to get a company you don’t want to run. Although, he could prove me wrong and show up every day to work. What are the chances of that though? Pretty slim. Will he keep Victoria on at the company or will she even want to hang around?
This seems like it will be pretty short-lived, according to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but what will happen in the time it takes for him to figure out a plan? Adam could lose half the clients or make some absurd announcement by then. It’s still hard to believe Victor gave in, but it’ll be very interesting to see how everyone reacts, namely Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). What do you think?
