British Royal Family News finds that it looks like even the Future King of England can’t resist all of those short videos of random people doing silly tricks and pranks and the latest dance moves. While there’s no doubt that TikTok has become a massively popular app among the teen demographic, British Royal News says that Prince Charles has apparently gotten pretty addicted to it, too. In fact, the 71-year-old heir to the throne has said that he is taking advantage of “the very best use of technology” during social isolation. Here’s what you need to know.

During an interview with Country Life magazine, Prince Charles didn’t reveal exactly what social media apps he’s been spending his free time on, but he did say that he has been enjoying the kind of entertainment that only viral content can provide.

Prince Charles told the publication that technology allows “us to keep working, but also to keep in touch through virtual parties, games, singing — and some of the funniest videos I have seen for a long time!” “In such testing times, it is reassuring to see that adversity is bringing out the very best in people,” he added.

Just last month Prince Charles revealed that he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus as well and was forced to isolate in his private estate at Balmoral Castle. What’s more, he and his wife Camila Parker-Bowles had to self-isolate in separate quarters for two weeks. As of press time, the coronavirus has infected over 2.6 million people from all over the world. While over 706,000 have recovered, the death toll is currently at 182,004. That number is expected to continue rising in the coming weeks.
