ABC ‘The Bachelor’ spoilers is asking what single man or woman doesn’t want to give love a shot on the Bachelor or the Bachelorette? The idea of getting on television and possibly going home engaged to a beautiful person sounds great right? There are a lot of new leaks coming from Bachelor Nation saying that these cast members have a lot of rules that they have to follow in order to stay on the show. We have the low down on what these rules are and what happens when you get caught slipping.

ABC ‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Packing, Eating, and Hiding Your Phone

One of the first rules of being on one of these shows is that you cannot overpack. Cast members are only allowed to bring two bags. The Bachelor or Bachelorette is given a stylist, but no one else is. The women on the Bachelor are expected to do their own hair and make-up. This would explain why many women don’t wear a lot of make-up on the show. Another interesting fact about the cast is that they cannot interact with one another if the cameras are not on. Every moment they are with the main star must be filmed for the show. The cameras follow them everywhere and sometimes, they will just pop up in their rooms!

When there is food, they can’t eat it. When they have dinner or brunch dates, that food isn’t’ for the cast, it’s for looks. In his tell-all book, Bachelor Sean Lowe said, “Before we went on the date, the producers sent food to our hotel rooms. We ate in our rooms and then went out for dinner, where we would be given beautiful food arranged nicely on a plate. This was just for show. No one looks good eating, and microphones pick up all kinds of chomping.” The cast cannot have more than two drinks in an hour. There always seems to be a drunk one, so in January of 2018, this rule was made. They are very strict about it too.

They are not allowed to use their phones or other forms of technology. They have to give this stuff up before they get out of the limo. This also means that they cannot listen to music, read books, or read magazines. They need to be cut off from the rest of the world during their time on the show. This helps them to follow their NDAs too. All of these rules are just why we love this show so much! Now when you see them on a dinner date, you will know that they’re not even hungry!
