British Royal Family finds that the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson shocked the world on Friday afternoon, as he issued a statement on social media, which admitted that he had been tested positive for Coronavirus. Johnson has been at the front of the British fight against the invisible killer, but he was tested over the past 24 hours.
Johnson admitted in his statement on Twitter, that he had been showing mild symptoms including a continuous cough and a high temperature over the past 24 hours. The news came shortly before it was revealed that 181 more people have died from COVID-19.

Johnson will now be forced to self-isolate inside 10 Downing Street for the next two weeks. However, it has also been revealed that Johnson will continue to lead the Conservative party through the pandemic as he talks to members of his cabinet through video conferences regarding the steps that will be taken next.
The Prime Minister was last seen on Thursday evening as he stood outside the front door of the famous house to applaud the efforts made by the NHS throughout the outbreak. It has also been revealed the Johnson is the first world leader to have revealed that they have COVID-19.
British Royal Family: Member Of Cabinet Also Showing Symptoms
Also on Friday afternoon, it was revealed the Johnson’s Health Secretary Matt Hancock has also been tested positive for COVID-19. Hancock admitted that he had been showing symptoms, and revealed in a statement that he is now self-isolating and working from home. Experts are now trying to trace how Johnson picked up the virus, but the announcement that he has it comes just a week after he admitted to shaking hands of suffers from COVID-19 in the hospitals around London.
A spokesperson for the royal family admitted shortly after Johnson’s statement that the Queen has not been in contact with Johnson since early March. The Queen and Prime Minister have historically met weekly, but that has not been the case since Coronavirus continues to spread across the globe.
