Whitney and Chase were engaged on their trip to Paris in December. Whitney loves Paris and has talked a lot about how that is where she would love to get married. Fans have started to think that all is not well with their relationship though. Whitney posts a lot of photos of the two of them together and some fans think it is just overkill. In some of her pictures, he doesn’t look happy to be with her at all. So what’s the deal with that? There has also been a great amount of tension between these two on the show and there was a point that Whitney thought they were breaking up. With this tense storyline, then a proposal about a week later, fans believe that these two could be faking it all.

One fan wrote on Twitter, “There’s something disingenuous about Whitney. Not to mention she’s a bad friend to Heather. The Chase storyline seems forced… so many of the male storylines with her seem fake.” Fans have also been pointing out that Chase seems very uncomfortable with her. When the couple was forced to share a hotel room, fans noticed that Whitney was complaining about it and even Chase kept moving further away from her on the show!
Chase and Whitney still cannot agree on having children, but Chase then snapped and make the quick decision to propose to her. This doesn’t make any sense at all! Fans spoke out about the last episode. One posted, “Was anyone else struggling to watch tonight’s episode? I mean the suspense isn’t even there and we all know they get engaged soon. If this were real life I would say they were ready to go their own ways. From this filming, everything is too fast too quick.” Another fan wrote, “Ryan and Chase supposedly showed up uninvited to the drag show yet Chase was mic’d up. You could see it. I’m sure the other guys were too but they were hidden better. So scripted and fake.” We’re not quite sure what to make of this so we will just have to keep watching Whitney and Chase on ‘My Big Fat Fabulous Life’ on TLC.
