CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is still having a pity party for himself! Even though Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is the one who was attacked by Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), and she’s the one who was in the hospital and now has to step down from Newman Enterprises, he just wants someone to ask how he’s doing.

Not long ago, his mother offered him a new fancy gig at Chancellor. However, he was quick to decline and attribute it to his “destructive” behavior. Hey, Billy, it’s your choice to act like a jerk. Maybe if you took a moment to assess your life, you’d realize a good job would set you straight. Not only would it be a fun gig, traveling the world, but he’d get paid to do it! Take the job man.

Lately, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) have been thinking about their mother, so Ashley’s been at Jabot recently. She got the chance to speak with Billy and asked him how he was doing with everything? Billy tells her she’s the first person to ask how he’s doing. They discuss what’s been going on and Billy mentions that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) offered him a job at Chancellor. He declined.

Ashley immediately tells him he needs to take the job. She yells at him about how he makes everything in life so complicated. Quit making it harder for yourself and accept the job! It appears this gets to Billy a little bit as he has a sudden look of realization on his face. Is this what he needed to hear from who he needed to hear it from?
