CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Sharon had a moment today. It was brief but important, not just for Victor to ask how she was doing, but for Sharon to hear him ask her. Sharon was on her way to the Newman ranch to talk with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) for their first actual session. While waiting for Victoria, Sharon walked into the main room to find Victor sitting at his desk looking at old newspaper clippings of Cliff Wilson and A.J Montalvo’s deaths.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) tells him she’s just waiting for Victoria and that she can wait in another room. Victor tells her it’s fine and she sits down on the couch near him. What we expected to be an awkward encounter while she waited ended up being very sweet. Though Victor and Sharon haven’t gotten along very well, Victor realizes what Sharon is going through and asks how she’s coping with her cancer. Sharon is left breathless for a moment.

When she realizes he’s being sincere she says she’s had better days very solemnly. Victor reaches his hand out and they lock hands for a moment. It was a pretty cool scene to see Victor reach out to her and having Sharon show a moment of weakness in front of him.
Soon, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) walks in and asks if everything is alright. Sharon explains what happened and even she can not believe it. Was this really a surprise though? Don’t you think Victor would be empathetic towards Sharon regardless of their history? Hopefully, talking with Victoria will help Sharon out as well, as she explained to Victor. What do you think?
