Another week in Genoa City is here and CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers has a few spoiler goodies for March 16’s episode. While there’s a lot going on, we’re in for a pretty cool mystery and other fun twists to unravel.
One of the coolest ideas we’re going to see may involve Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and his quest for vengeance even while trying to relax. There are times when the stars align and we’re in for a heckuva ride.
A mystery unfolds
Traveling to our old haunts often brings out more than just memories, as Adam will learn when he bumps into his childhood friend, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomineco), and they reminisce about Adam’s stepfather and her father.

After a while, the wheels will start turning in Adam’s head. When he’s alone with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), he explains that Victor Newman (Eric Braden) was in town around the time Alyssa’s father died. It’ll be an odd revelation that could give Adam the one thing he was searching for.
While it appeared he was going to target Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), this temp Adam into blackmailing his father into giving him the CEO position, which would completely destroy his argument of wanting to do this to help the family, but whatever works, right?
What gives him an edge if that Alyssa is expected to be a crime reported, so who better to give his threat some teeth? Of course, this relies on Adam actually going down this route.
Speaking of mysteries…
Faith loses her way
Nick calling Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) was a typical way of building up a dramatic effect and make us believe something horrible is coming Monday for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)’s daughter.
However, CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers believe it’s bad but nowhere near as horrible as Nick made it sound.
While struggling with her mother’s illness, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) has dealt with it by acting out. Rey learns that she’s been ditching classes and talking back to teachers. It’s not surprising as she’s appeared tired and depressed the few times we’ve seen her recently.
It’s safe to assume she expects Rey to lecture her, but he’s more down to earth that most, so CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers believe he’ll listen and explain he understands.
But more than that, he has to find a way to communicate with a teenage girl, and that could prove difficult for him. There are several options he could look into from a guidance counselor at school, which Faith probably won’t like, a therapist, or a friend. Since Sharon is tied up with her treatments and helping Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), we’re thinking he’ll try his sister, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle).
If he does that, it could be an interesting week with everything Lola is going through at the moment.
Struggling relationships aren’t anything new on our shows, so let’s head into our third and final spoiler that’s the culmination of what not to do.
Tessa dumps Mariah
This was expected by many of us, and we expect it to become a reality on Monday when Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) finally sits down with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) to talk things out.
We can expect Mariah to admit to everything, including being the biggest idiot walking and professing her love for Tessa, but will it be enough?
Maybe, but probably not.
Tessa ignored/avoided any form of temptation while traveling by laying down definitive boundaries. While it’s easy to see why Mariah felt threatened and allowed herself to think that Tessa was cheating on her. Things were just too familiar and comfortable on that plane.
Still, if Tessa is the love of her life as she claims, maybe she should’ve shown more faith in Tessa?
Sure, it’s easy to say that when we’re not part of the equation, as it’s difficult not to expect an ex husband and wife tandem to hook back up at times, but having suspicions is one thing, to act on them and cheat is another.
While Mariah burned the bridge leading back to Tessa down, we doubt if their breakup will last for long. They’re too perfect together, so we expect Tessa to forgive her at some point. Maybe after another failed fling with Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman)?
It should be interesting to see if he comforts Tessa as a friend or something more.
Looks like we’re in for a fun couple of weeks, so bring the snacks, buckle up, and get ready to ride along with CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers as we continue sharing the latest spoilers, updates, and speculation around.
