British Royal News suggests that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made the move from Vancouver to Los Angeles but unfortunately for the couple, it looks like their American dream might not last very long. That’s because there’s a slim chance that American taxpayers will fund Secret Service protection for them while they settle into their new lives in California. Here’s what you need to know.

According to new reports, Canadians have just bid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle along with their security costs farewell as they have decided to pack their bags and leave the multi-million dollar mansion they called home in Vancouver Island for the last several months. Instead, the Duke and Duchess are apparently planning to settle down in Los Angeles, a bustling city where Meghan not only grew up in, but where her mother Doria Ragland still lives in.

British Royal News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s American Dream Might Not Last Very Long – Here’s Why

While Harry and Meghan are hoping to launch a new philanthropic venture in the coming months, it looks like they will also have to deal with a huge new problem they have on their hands right now – and that’s their lack of security. Should the couple decide to stay in L.A., Prince Harry will no longer be classed as an ‘international protected person’ when he and Meghan complete the final stage of ‘Megxit’ by next week.

To complicate matters even more, the only way that they can get their security funded by the U.S. government is if President Donald Trump approves of it. But seeing how Meghan has never been a fan of Trump – and that he is well aware of this fact too – there’s little chance that she and Harry will be able to live out their American dream. That is, unless they come up with a new plan to stay safe and protected. For now, the couple are yet to make any comments about their move to California.
