TLC 90 Day Fiancé spoilers is saying that It is with heavy hearts that we at DSD report that Angela Deem’s Mother has passed away. Angela Deem is on 90-day fiance currently with her Nigerian Fiance, Michael Ilesanmi, who is currently affected by the US travel ban that includes Nigeria. As if Angela needed anything else on her plate. Angela posted on her IG on with a collage of pictures of her Mother with the caption “We love Mama but God loves you more. RIP Mama.” and our hearts broke for her. Glenda Standridge, Angel’s Mother, had bravely battled with her health for a long, long time. It’s always heartbreaking to see the battle end in tragedy. It was the dream of Angela’s heart for her Mom to see her get married in her home state of Georgia.
Now that is not to be. In part due to her Mother’s untimely death, but also in part because Michael’s K-91 Visa getting denied and there is also a travel ban going on currently affecting anyone from Nigeria from legally entering the United States. Although, that doesn’t prevent the spousal rules from still applying to both Michael and Angela. It seems that now that they are married, Angela is completely financially responsible for Michael until he can live and work in the US. This seems a little extreme considering he can’t even get in the country right now but rules are rules, laws are laws, and they’re in place for a reason.
TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Angela Deem’s Mother has passed away
Angela and Michael did indeed get married. But instead of the big grand ceremony she had planned in Georgia, they had a Nigerian wedding. Her Mom was back home in the states and the wedding itself was witnessed by Michael’s family, and the TLC crew. I am hoping for Angela’s sake that there was at least a live video feed so that her Mom, even if she couldn’t be there in person to witness her walk down the aisle, she could have at least seen it on a video.
It is not said whether or not Angela is still planning the big wedding for when Michael gets to the United States. It seemed awfully important to her. However, things can change, grief can change a person, and once you lose someone that you’re close to, sometimes dreams can change. Since it was important to Angela, we can only hope that once immigration has settled down that she does have the big wedding in Georgia and decides to celebrate her love in the way she originally wanted. Our hearts go out to her, and the rest of her family because they have lost a Mom and Grandmother, and that loss can be devastating.
