CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) talking to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) today about how he wants the chance to work at Newman again. He’s done it before, and he’s confident he can do the work. However, he doesn’t want to seem opportunistic while his sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) lays in a hospital bed fighting for her life. Chelsea supports him but adds he really just wants to prove himself to his father.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) sits with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) while juggling phone calls and paperwork. He’s trying to maintain the company and do all the work but is drowning. Nick forces him to order some food while he looks over a proposal. Nick tells Victor he needs to step back and let someone else deal with this. Victor asks him if he’s going to do it. Nick shys away. Victor receives a call from Adam who will be meeting him here in a few minutes. Nick says that means it’s time for him to go. However, he tells Victor that Adam will try to finesse his way back in. Don’t let him take advantage of you.

Nick and Adam Newman catch each other as Nick walks out. They exchange glances but don’t say anything. Adam walks in and sits with Victor. He gets straight to the point and tells him he wants to work at Newman Enterprises. He knows what and how to do it. He’ll need someone to step in while Victoria is in the hospital. Adam tells Victor he should be there, not dealing with all of this.”I want to help,” Adam tells him, “I’ve changed.” Victor smiles at him and says he’ll have to think about it. What do you think?
