CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) fighting for her life in the hospital from a stab wound by Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes). We’ve seen Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) going back to Newman Enterprises from the hospital, much to the dismay of his wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). She worries that if he goes back again, he won’t leave. She was so happy when he retired.
With Victoria in the hospital, and him being retired. It paves the way for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to take over the main role. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was never really interested in the business, and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has found her own success with The Grand Phoenix. That only leaves Adam. So how will Victor go about this?

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Adam Primed To Run Newman Enterprises?
This may worry a lot of people, however. Victor and Adam have had their share of problems, and have never been on the same page. Although, when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor spoke, Victor defended Adam. He told Jack that everything Adam tried doing to him was under false pretenses.
Now, with what seems like Adam turning over a new leaf, it seems he’s ready to slide into the position. Of course, this is relatively new. At the party, he announced he wanted to get to know his father and siblings better. This shocked everyone, including his siblings. Is Adam really trying to be a better person and Victor is the only one who sees it? Or, is he trying to fool everyone, and Victor is falling for it? Victor hasn’t fallen for very much, so it may be the best thing for Victor. Victor can continue his retirement with his wife while Adam runs the company. At least until Victoria returns, then we’ll have a new power struggle.
