ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the week of February 24th indicate this baby swap mess is far from done. There will be a lot of cleanup yet to deal with, and we’ll be seeing that this week. It might even make a big impact on people who haven’t technically been involved in the story. Let’s take a look at the new promo and see what’s next.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Back where he belongs
The promo shows something fans have been waiting for a long time. General Hospital spoilers reveal Wiley is back in his real father’s home, and we’ll see some cute moments with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and the baby. We know from the promo for today that will also be colored with some fear this week, as Michael worries he might not be enough. We’re sure Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will do a good job of talking him down. Whatever his job, and whether you’re a fan or not, he showed some great maturity and restraint when he talked Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) out of running for it.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: War’s on
The big thing in this promo is Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and how this scam will deepen the war between her and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Carly is going all out this week. We see her promise Nelle that if the legal system doesn’t keep her away from Wiley, she will. We’re guessing the more accurate phrase is, “My (alleged) mobster husband will,” but we’ll let her have her moment.
As for Nelle, while we don’t see it specifically in the promo, we’re expecting a lot of fallout from her attempt at a save this week as well. We saw Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Julian Jerome (William deVry) visiting in the promo for today. We think he’ll try to get Julian’s help in saving himself from Nelle’s lies. Brad shouldn’t hold his breath. Letting Brad take the full fall works in Julian’s favor.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What’s next
Finally, we’re not sure if the rest of this promo refers to the swap, or possibly the mob war. After Carly finishes promising to keep Nelle away from Wiley at all costs, the narration promises that what happens next will hit close to home. This is accompanied by a split screen of Laura Webber (Genie Francis), Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), and Julian. It then switches to Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) asking Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) what she said, then we see Jason walking by with someone in the shadows before we switch to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) saying, “Oh, my God,” to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). If that’s not crazy enough, we see Cameron Webber (William Lipton) running.
We’re guessing that this is more about the mob war, but who knows? This show is good at throwing a few curve balls lately. Our guess is that most of this bit does have to do with the mob war. We can’t help but wonder if Cameron finds himself in danger thanks to his friendship with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). We’re guessing that Brando, as a relative of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) will be a target, as will Laura. She is the Mayor, after all, and she’s a good obstacle in Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) plan to burn Jordan Ashford’s (Brianna Nicole Henry) city down. Could someone else get dragged into this on the other side? We’ll talk about that a little later. For now, it looks like GH is bringing it this week and we can’t wait to see what happens.
