TLC Unexpected Spoilers: How Chloe Mendoza Suffered Dental Problems
TLC star, Chloe Mendoza shared her struggles with her dentition on social media. In a YouTube video, she revealed that she had braces on her upper teeth when she was in grade school, but she didn’t put any on the bottom teeth, because she would need a jaw surgery for that. The TLC star loved the improvements when the braces were removed. She felt more confident and didn’t care that her bottom teeth wasn’t perfect. She was happy with the fact that her teeth looked much better.
However, when she appeared on TLC’s Unexpected, the viewers dropped negative comments about her dentition, and this got to her. Her relationship with her baby daddy, Max Schenzel also was also affected by her appearance on the show.

Chloe said she was okay with her appearance until she joined TLC’s Unexpected cast. She said that viewers left lots of hurtful comments about her dentition. Before this, she didn’t see the need to address her teeth because she wasn’t bothered. She only wanted to focus on being a mum to her child, Ava and being Max Schenzel’s girlfriend. But the negative comments people made made her hate herself.
After seeing so many hurtful comments, Chloe began to regret not going for the jaw surgery earlier. She said she was so scared of getting the procedure done, so she never did. She stated that she didn’t to fix her teeth just because some people were telling her to do it. Although now that she is in college, she wants to make some changes to her looks.

Chloe had decided that she won’t go back to the orthodontist and she will get clear aligners to correct her smile. The TLC star said that aligners are cheaper and she will go with a company that has promised her the best results. However, Chloe is dealing with another dilemma.
Chloe was told that she will have to remove one or two teeth to fix her overbite. She has to choose between taking out one tooth from her front bottom row or one tooth from each side on the top row. She eventually had it choose to remove a tooth from her front bottom row. This doesn’t require any surgery. We are certain that Ava and her daddy will be happy to see Chloe love herself again.
