NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Surprise!
The surprise guest we mentioned was none other than Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson), Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) daughter. She showed up for a Mother’s Day visit, but it wasn’t a sweet moment at all. This was our first exposure to the character, and believe us when we say, that was more than enough. Summer did something terrible and set tragedy in motion.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Thanks, Mom
After a long absence, one might think she wanted to make peace. You’d be wrong. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal she seemed to be more intent of driving a knife in Maggie’s heart.
She told Maggie she wanted to thank her for a gift. Apparently, it was one she got at birth. Maggie thought Summer meant an ailment, but Summer was referring to alcoholism. She went on and on about how she boozed it up after her last time in town. This piece of work even went on about how she wanted to drink herself to death every day, but unfortunately had to wake up to face a new dawn. It was truly horrible to see. But that wasn’t the worst.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The true culprit
If you want to blame someone for Adrienne’s death, we personally would pin it on Summer. After her little speech, she announced she’s dying, too. Cirrhosis. Then, she pulled out her own personal stash of booze and practically shoved it in Maggie’s face. She even begged her to have a drink with her dying daughter. We can’t. When Maggie refused, she left a distraught Maggie home alone with that bottle. And with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) off tending to Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) during labor, Maggie’s call for help went unanswered. That led to her relapsing again and getting behind the wheel. It’s a tragic chain of events that made for some great TV drama. We’re looking forward to seeing what might happen if/when the truth’s revealed.
