It seems Santiago was really the one sleeping around. His mistress is a woman named Estela, who believes he’s the one who’s been wronged. He says Yadira was sleeping with Soloman, a friend of theirs. Estela’s sympathetic to his plight and willing to be there for him as he rebuilds. Unfortunately, things aren’t as easy as they seem.

Eventually, thanks to a message sent to Soloman’s wife, Bianca, we start learning the truth. Santiago was the only one cheating and Yadira found out. She is justifiably angry and threatens to leave him and take everything he’s got. Sadly for her, she goes a little too far in her taunts about how she’ll get back at him. Santiago snaps and strangles her, then buries her near where he works. The episode is a sobering look at what pain and secrets hide beneath those perfect pictures and inspirational messages. It’s also a warning to play things carefully when faced with a situation like Yadira’s. You never know what parts of a person are hidden—even from those their closest to.
