CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful'(B&B) spoilers tease there might be a perfectly good reason as to why Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is going so insane lately. Thomas might seem like a controlling, manipulative person, but deep down inside, all he wants to do is love and be loved. Or at least, that’s what he’s trying to convince the world. Matthew Atkinson, who plays Thomas on the hit CBS soap, recently put it this way to Soaps in Depth in an interview, “There are moments where she can look at him not as the person who kept her baby from her, but as the person she’s cared about throughout her life.”

With that said, Thomas does believe that he and Hope are destined to be with one another, even though it might not look like it on the surface. That might be one of the reasons why he is trying too hard to convince Hope that he is the man she should spend the rest of her life with. And little by little, it does appear as though Hope is beginning to realize that. Matthew also added, “Thomas believes that Hope does have feelings for him, deep down, but she’s just now allowing herself to show it at this time. All he’s trying to do is get through to her.”
