TLC Kate Plus 8 spoilers is saying that if you remember Kate Gosselin from TLC’s hit show, where she and ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, were raising their sextuplets, you will remember that this couple had quite a bit of drama that surrounded them. One of the main concerns that Jon had was that during the filming of the show, some of the children did not get the necessary work permits in order to be filmed while they were minors. The case just went to court a few weeks ago and we have the results.
TLC Kate Plus 8: What Happens Now?
Kate Gosselin was found in contempt of court after she was the parent who allowed four of the sextuplets to work on the reality television show. They didn’t have the proper work permits and should not have been permitted to do so. Jon and Kate have been through many court cases with each other going back and forth. Most of the cases that they had against each other had to do with their children. It seems that drama has surrounded this couple for quite some time.
TLC Kate Plus 8: Kate Gosselin – In Deep Trouble
The court case that occurred in October concerned a television special that was all about the oldest daughters going away to college. The twins are 19 years old and their names are Mady and Cara. This episode did focus mainly on the twins, but the 15 year old sextuplets were on the show as well. Jon was angered by the fact that Kate put them on the show and he knew that they did not have the proper permits to be filmed and on camera.
Was it just Kate’s fault or can TLC be blamed for this as well? After looking at all of the facts, it seems that TLC did not follow up with Kate to make sure that all of her children had the proper permits. Together, they failed to follow the protocol when it comes to filming minors and putting them on television, social media,etc. Kate now must pay Jon $1,500 in legal fees and that is added to the $25,000 that she already owes him from another case. She doesn’t have long to pay them either. She must pay them by the end of December!
The judge in the case said that he didn’t feel that her children should be put out there on a reality television show. Clearly, Kate felt differently than the judge! All of the children are now teenagers and Collin and Hannah live with Jon, while the others live with Kate. None of the children have made comments about wanting to be in any other reality television shows.
