She just revealed that she has made some changes to her appearance and her fans are very excited about it! She cut off over a foot of her beautiful hair! That’s right! She lost about 14 inches of her hair and donated it to a charity. The charity makes wigs for people who lose their hair due to chemotherapy for cancer.

If you are a fan of the Counting On show, you know that Jill is the second oldest daughter. Her parents are Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. They first appeared on the TLC show, 19 Kids and Counting. Jill quit the show because she wanted to focus on her career as a midwife. She got married to Derek Dillard in 2014 and they have two children, Israel and Samuel.

Why are they not on the show anymore? Derek made some very offensive comments on the show and he was asked to leave the show. Jill decided that she couldn’t be on the show without him, so she left the show as well. Even though we can’t see her and her family on the show anymore, we can see her updates on her Instagram page, where she is very active. She also has a personal blog where she shares her stories.
Jill shares quite a bit on her blog and in her recent post, she shared that she cut her hair off and it was time to donate it. She wrote, “So… I usually get my hair trimmed twice a year and it was getting to be that time of year. I wanted to get a little more cut off than I did last time.” That’s when she decided to just go for it and cut it all off. She posted a picture of her new style on her Instagram account.
After donating her hair to a company that has a great cause, she wants her fans to know that if they can donate their hair to a cause like this, they should do it. It means more to these people than anyone will ever know. We are so happy that Jill decided to share her story on her blog and on her Instagram account.
