If you loved watching season 1 of The Haunting Of Hill House, the tragic Crain family story that Flanagan took time to create for Netflix more than 10 episodes in 2018, you may be wondering if there will be any other season.
Good news! Your favorite series will return to Netflix, but this time around, in form of an American Horror Story-esque anthology. So the upcoming season is called The Haunting Of Bly Manor. Get ready for a whole new story.
Here’s all the information we’ve got about the upcoming season so far…
The faces we will see
We are not sure if we will continue to see the Crain family from The Haunting Of Hill House in this new season, as Flanagan already told TVLine. “We tied up all of those threads exactly how they should be,” he said. “I don’t really see a need to revisit those characters, even in cameos.”
However, what we know is that Victoria Pedretti, who played the role of Nell in first season, will lead the second season as governess ‘Dani’. Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who took up the role of Luke Crain will also be back as a “charming young man” via Variety.
We also can’t tell you if this new season will be just like American Horror Story , which cast most of the same actors for different roles. If this happens, then get ready to see see Carla Gugino, Michiel Huisman, Timothy Hutton, and Elizabeth Reaser in this new season as different characters.
Guigino recently spoke to The Wrap and gave a hint saying she may appear in season 2:
“I can’t say anything definitive at this point, other than Mike and I really love collaborating and working together and any opportunity where a schedule allows for us to do that, we will, and I would be honoured to… So we’re talking a lot about it and we’ll just see if all schedules allow. All I can say is I’m very excited for season 2 and to see what Mike does.”
