The finishing line is in sight for the celebrities, and only six remain in the Australian jungle, but what did fans miss out on last night if they haven’t had time to catch up?
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here: Rak-Su’s Myles Eliminated
Myles Stephenson was the latest name to depart the jungle, as the Rak-Su singer received the lowest amount of votes by the British public. The former X-Factor winner was in the bottom two for the very first time this season, but it would be him to depart instead of Caitlyn Jenner.
After leaving the jungle, he spoke to the show’s hosts Ant and Dec about his time, and he was visibly emotional about the time that he has spent on the show. He lasted 19 days, and during that time he took on six bushtucker trials; including one where he and Cliff Parisi from EastEnders were dressed as builders. The two were covered in snakes, spiders and cockroaches and had to untie the stars in order to get meals for the camp.
Myles was one of the most beloved campmates, which was mostly down to him being the head chef in camp. His fellow celebrities were full of praise for the singer with every meal that he cooked, and his loss will be felt on their stomach’s now it is somebodies else turn.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here: Kate’s Trial and Special Appearances In Dingo Dollar Challenge
It was a night of high drama for viewers as the show opened with a humorous skit as Coronation Street’s Kirk was forced to describe what Pub Golf was to Caitlyn. It would appear that she was none the wiser as she continued by claiming that she takes golf seriously and can’t drink while playing it.
Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway was faced with a trial for the seventh time this season, and she remarkably managed to bring home five stars. She was faced with getting the stars out of different containers in 60 seconds, with each of them having different animals locked inside. She managed to endure all the challenges, but on two occasions, she was unable to get the star out. In the containers, she had snakes, pigeons, rats and mealworms, to name a few.
The Dingo Dollar challenge is one of the best parts of the show where campmates can get a treat for camp. But, this was no normal challenge during this show as it was Jumanji themed; with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Kevin Hart both making special cameos. Andy Whyment (Kirk from Coronation Street) and Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren Branning from EastEnders) took on three challenges, with the duo needed to pass each of them to get the dollars. It was one of the more easier tests, and they passed effortlessly.
The camp was rewarded with biscuits for their efforts before there were emotional scenes later in the evening as campmates got their letters from home. Families expressed how proud they were of their significant others, and told them of how they are counting down the days until they return to normal civilisation.
Tonight there will be a double exit from the jungle, as we enter the final weekend of the show.
