About the upcoming Christmas pantomime, Arthur said to Archie “Who would want to go and watch something with you in it. Unless you’re a frog or something. He’d be a good frog.” He also told Archie outside the auditions that no one wanted him to be in the village, as everyone would be fine without him.
Archie told Arthur that his dad wants him in the village, but Arthur says Archie’s dad is lying and only brought him because doesn’t know what to do with him. He went ahead to tell Archie that everyone hates him, even his own father. This made Archie really sad and when Angelica and Arthur started making fun of him, he smacked Angelica in the face.It was at this moment Jimmy appeared, and non seeing what happened, he aggressively yanked Archie away from Angelica.
Arthur told Archie that everyone would be better off without him. He suggested that Archie leave the village. He told him he could go to the woods and hide there because no one would find him.The episode saw scared Arthur leaving the house with a rucksack as he walks away into the darkness alone. This scene infuriated Emmerdale viewers and they stormed Twitter, expressing their anger and suggesting that Archie’s bully came to an end.

This week’s episode on Emmerdale saw the Sharmas thrown into confusion as they find out that Archie is not in his room. On finding out, they start a search. The police takes Jimmy to their station to confront him over the earlier incident, even though he is not guilty of Archie’s disappearance. As the search continues, the school calls Laurel and tells her that Arthur is also nowhere to be found.
Social services had to come into the matter as Jai, who is convinced that Jimmy as something to do with Archie’s disappearance, threatens Jimmy. Will Archie survive scared and all by himself in the woods?Will Jimmy be proven innocent before it is too late?
