Decisiones: Unos Ganan, otros pierden spoilers reveal the sixth episode got off to a different start then the previous ones. This time, we see an interview that leads us into the action that led our protagonist there. It’s also probably the most difficult episodes. In a story that deals with mistreatment and adultery, we see how easy it is for a decent person to go bad. Or, at least lose control in a tough moment. If you missed it, let’s break down the action.

Decisiones: Unos Ganan, otros pierden spoilers—Roaming eyes

Manuel (Salvador Zerboni) is a real piece of work. He’s sleeping around on the wife (Laura, played by Estefanía Villarreal) at one of the worst possible times. We’ll get into that a little later. But it gets worse. At a party celebrating 11 years, he says an excess of tolerance is the key. He also badmouths her with the mistress, and makes comments about her weight.

In a scene at their party, he was even worse. He mocks her for eating too much while on a diet. He also implies she’s going to eat everything in sight. Despite this verbal abuse, she remains completely loyal. Even when he tells her the only good thing she’s done is hire Alma (Susana Rentería), a secretary he’s having an affair with. But just when you think he’s gone as low as he can go, it gets worse.

Decisiones: Unos Ganan, otros pierden spoilers—Shameless thief

He makes out with Alma at their party. Sure, it’s Alma who starts it, but he doesn’t react as badly as he should. And he sits back and does nothing after she lies about Laura’s friend to cover her own butt. But their lies extend to something far worse. They’re embezzling from her to start their own company. This episode is seriously rough.

Decisiones: Unos Ganan, otros pierden spoilers—Under pressure

Laura’s dealing with a serious illness when she learns the full truth. In a horrifying twist that shows how easy it is for someone who seemingly has everything to go too far, she resorts to murder. After a private eye confirms the affair and theft, Decisiones: Unos Ganan, otros pierden spoilers reveal she loses it. She actually runs her cheating husband over twice. Even worse, later scenes show she might not realize what she did. She keeps swearing it was an accident. So, who’s a winner and loser?

Decisiones: Unos Ganan, otros pierden spoilers—The winners and losers

Poor Laura is the biggest loser. She seems to have no concept of what she did, ended up in jail, and has lost her livelihood. Watching a character go through such horrible things and end up like that is a tough sight. That one choice is a prime example of the show’s theme of choices changing one’s life.

Alma is the other loser, although we can’t really feel bad about that. She was trying to stuff the wife full of fatty food and treated her life garbage. She also got Laura’s friend fired. So, it’s almost a just end that she loses Manuel the way she did. And that she ended up a single mother. Unfortunately, we can’t really say anyone is a winner here. It’s probably the saddest story on this show, and we applaud the series for going there. But we really hope there’s a few lighter stories on the way. This is supposed to be entertainment, after all.
