Also, Albeiro Marín (Fabián Ríos) debuts in the ring with some unexpected competition, and Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos) reaches out to Lucrecia Olivares (Eliana Diaosa). If you missed it, let’s catch up with an El Final del Paraíso recap.

El Final del Paraiso spoilers: Set up

Vanessa meets up with José “Jota” Luis Vargas (Francisco Bolívar) in the indicated spot. He’s nervous and desperate to get little Nanita back. Vanessa warns him to let her handle the negotiation with the baby’s kidnappers, and he says he’s too nervous to talk anyway. Almost right away, a couple of cars race at them and corner the pair. Vanessa tries to settle the situation, but she is knocked out cold. Jota is then grabbed and forced into a car.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Regroup

Following the attack, Cata Grande is informed Vanessa was found unconscious on the street. She’s awake now, but she’s refusing to go to a hospital. Cata Grande, alarmed, rushes to her side and wants to know what happened. Vanessa explains the situation and her reasons for saying nothing. Cata Grande is understanding, but still sort of upset she didn’t confide in her.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Plan set

While they talk, Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique) calls and wants to know if they’ve seen Jota. Cata Grande explains that Jota was kidnapped and thinks she and Vanessa should head to Edmundo “Sombra” Dorantes Borrero’s (Mauricio Cujar) hideout to talk.

The situation has everyone nervous. Sombra and Zoraya Fuentes (Eileen Roca) are worried that their revenge might not happen. Cata Grande insists that there is something greater than revenge: justice. She’s determined to help them get it, and thinks they should split into a couple of groups. One will handle getting Zoraya close to Alfonso Berrio (Leonardo Acosta), while the other will work on the unmasking of Mano Negra (Juan Pablo Gamboa). As part of that, Daniel Cerón Venegas (Juan Pablo Llano) tells them about the information he and Rogelio (Roberto Greco) found. Sombra confirms that the story matches his former associate’s plan to gain power.  After seeing a picture of the woman who was once Mano Negra’s woman, he is sure that is her. He just doesn’t know her name. They’re going to work on locating her.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Reaching out

As to the other thing, Cata Grande gets an idea and reaches out to Lucrecia. Berrio is distraught and confused about what had happened and is telling Lucrecia how horrible it is to have the goal ripped right out from under him with something so inexplicable. Cata Grade’s call interrupts them and Lucrecia steps away.

It seems that Cata Grande has something very important to speak to him about and it can’t wait. It’s a matter of life and death.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Fight is on

Albeiro is all set to make his debut as a fighter. He’s not ready, however, for the competition. Jota is to be his opponent. Both have been dosed with XY5, but Albeiro still has enough control over himself to refuse to fight.

Jota, however, doesn’t. He’s desperate to save his daughter, for one, and being dosed with both XY4 and XY5 this season has him out of control. He taunts Albeiro, but he still refuses to fight Jota.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Motivation

A call from Yésica “La Diabla” Beltrán (Kimberly Reyes) doesn’t seem to help, but it apparently brings on a hallucination that does. It’s of Diabla saying that Jota hid Cata Grande’s survival from everyone for a long time, which pushes him over an edge and the fight begins. He and Jota are both hallucinating through the whole thing and are brutal. Albeiro is seeing Aurelio “El Titi” Jaramillo (Gregorio Pernía), while Jota is imagining Sombra is there. Their respective visions fuel the fight to even more brutal levels. We’ll have to wait until next time to see who wins. We’re a bit nervous, because we love us some Jota. These writers have no trouble taking out some favorites.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Warning

Meanwhile, Doña Hilda and Marcela Pinzón (Giovanna Andrade) continue their bonding, as well as shop talk. Doña Hilda shares what they went through with La Diabla and little Albeiro’s origin, then get back to Doña Hilda’s case. She warns Doña Hilda not to have any contact with Salvatore. It could damage their case, or he can even end up talking her out of the suit. She needs to fight for her rights. Doña Hilda agrees that she will do as asked. Later, she daydreams about Salvatore seeking her out and kissing her, then mopes about how she is all alone now.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Drugged

As for Salvatore, he is devastated after the bombing of his business and the situation with Doña Hilda. He’s drinking himself stupid and is making himself vulnerable. Joana hears a noise and rushes to check on him. When he assures her he’s fine, she notices his state and apparently decides to take advantage of it. She puts something into a glass and hands it to him. Once he’s taken in most of it, she tells him that’s enough and confiscates the glass.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Tough bargain

Pilar (Margarita Reyes) makes the phone call to La Cuina (Jimena Galvis) in this episode. She asks Pilar to call her by her real name—Joaquina Bendaño—when talking money, then they get into business. Pilar believes this drug is a gold mine and promises that they can get it to her disguised as sweets with no trouble. La Cuina is interested, but if she’s going to pay that high a price, she wants exclusivity. Pilar tells her that’s going to cost her more, but La Cuina isn’t fazed. She knows all about Ramón “Moncho” Montecarlo (Mauricio Mauad) and the others working to improve XY4. Given that, and the other stuff she knows, she wants to negotiate. Looks like they just lost a little bargaining power….
