The El Final del Paraíso recap for Wednesday, October 2nd finds Dayana “La Demonia” Muriel (Elianis Garrido) making a move to get rid of Mariana Sanín Santana (Stephania Duque), Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos) is having a bit of a breakdown, Albeiro Marín (Fabián Ríos) is preparing for his first fight, and Yésica “La Diabla” Beltrán (Kimberly Reyes) has an awkward moment. We also have a new lab rat, and progress in finding Esteban Calvo’s (Manuel Gómez) son. If you missed it, let’s get to the El Final del Paraíso spoilers.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Betrayal
After the incident at Aurelio “El Titi” Jaramillo’s funeral, Demonia is not happy. She thinks that they need to do something before Mariana becomes the downfall of them all. She tells Ramón “Moncho” Montecarlo (Mauricio Mauad) they need to kill her to save themselves. It happens in this business, after all. Moncho is not happy. He tells Demonia that if she touches a hair on Mariana’s head, he’ll come at her and her family. This just makes Demonia laugh and tell him he’ll have to buy her some relatives then. Yeah, um… dude? She had her mom murdered. You really think she cares about the sister she has left? Demonia tells him she was joking about Mariana, and just wanted to see if he really loves their problematic socia. She proposes another idea instead: send her back to mama.
As for Titi, he and his cartel are laughing about the fact #TitiDiedToday is trending, while Pilar (Margarita Reyes) still seems to be a bit jealous of all the ladies mourning his death today. They mention how Cata Grande was one of them, but Titi claims it was just her wanting to make sure he was really dead. He wants to talk business instead. This will mean getting XY4 in production and giving it to a woman who is one of Moncho’s rivals in Mexico.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Awkward moment
Mano Negra’s (Juan Pablo Gamboa) carefully (not) thought-out plan is beginning to fall apart. “Valeria” is standing before the cameras with Alfonso Berrio (Leonardo Acosta) as he talks about his recovery and being ready for the debate coming. They’re asking if this new woman in his life is responsible for his new confidence when an interruption happens. The mother of the woman Diabla stole her new face from rushes up to them, calling out for her daughter. Up close, she thinks it’s not her daughter, but she is demanding to know where she is because this woman looks just like her. Good job, Mano Negra. This becomes a topic of conversation through the night, but she and Berrio conclude the poor woman must have been a little crazy from her loss.
As luck would have it, Lucrecia Olivares (Eliana Diaosa) appears at the event in time to notice the woman arguing with security before getting into a cab. When they explain what happened, she rushes after the cab to speak to her, but she’s too late. Lucrecia heads inside, where greets “Valeria” and Berrio. She brings up family, but “Valeria” says it’s a sore subject for her. Lucrecia apologizes, but says she’s just bringing this up because of her connection to Berrio. If she becomes First Lady, these questions will come up. Has she thought about that?
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Jealousy
Before Lucrecia shows up, our infiltrators are still working toward Zoraya Fuentes (Eileen Roca) speaking to Berrio. She ends up pulling him aside and he is shocked to see her. Also upset. He wants to know what happened to her, and why she disappeared like that. Zoraya wants to tell him, but she says she can’t do it there. He gives her his card and says to call him, as his number had changed.
“Valeria” sees this and confronts Berrio about the woman he was giving his number to. He seems slightly amused at the idea she is jealous, “Valeria” eventually drops the subject. She doesn’t want to ruin their night.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Fight time
Calvo does as instructed while he and Albeiro are on their way to a fight. He tries to convince Albeiro to give up the kid in exchange for the next dose of medicine. Albeiro refuses to do that, and tells Calvo his son is more important than his life.
Later, they arrive at a spot where a pre-fight thing is going on. Calvo’s trainer has arranged for a fighter to spare with Albeiro to give him some fight experience.
As for Albeiro’s son, Marcela Pinzón () is still taking good care of him while working on José Luis Vargas’ (Francisco Bolívar) case. She wants to meet with Cata Grande and the wife tomorrow. Gabriel (Ricardo Henao) promises to set it up, which gets an odd reaction from Sandra (Alejandra Monsalve). We keep saying it—this girl ain’t right. Her eyes, her tone of voice, everything is screaming “Crazy”.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Cata Grande’s breakdown
At Salvatore Miranda’s (Martín Karpan) place, Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque) and Cata Grande talk about the death of Titi, the fact Diabla is alive, and Doña Hilda’s new relationship with Salvatore, and the kidnapping lead. While discussing Titi, Doña Hilda wonders how Mariana is doing with his death. This makes Cata Grande break down. She feels guilty about her failure with Mariana and can’t understand how this happened. Mariana had every possible advantage that Cata Grande didn’t, but Doña Hilda says sometimes one bad influence can end up destroying a lifetime of good upbringing.
As for that, Doña Hilda mentions Cata Grande’s son. She thinks it’s wrong that he is back in the US while she’s here. Their daily video chats and texts are not enough, in her opinion. Cata Grande wants to have him there, but she’s not sure he’ll want to. Doña Hilda says they’ll just have to make him fall in love with Colombia. Could we be seeing the re-appearance of the one mature member of the Sanin/Santana family soon? We hope so. Just don’t even think about touching him, writers…
Cata Grande is also upset about his death, because Titi is very important to her. He was the first Narco to reject her for her small boobs, and made her determined to be the most prized escort in the country. This essentially made her who she is now, as she had to go through all the stuff she did to become DEA chief and have her new life.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Secrets
Later, Cata Grande returns to the office, where she speaks with Vanessa. Doña Hilda had suggested that they could get to Mariana through Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique), as they were always very close. This leads Vanessa to confess she knows where he and Jota are. She agrees to get in touch and have Santiago call Cata Grande.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Never trust informants
Finally, Natalia Bérmudez (Linda Baldrich) and backup have a location that will lead them to Calvo’s weakness—his son. When she questions the source, her partner thinks that one can never trust an informant. It seems that might have been good advice. When they spot their target, they get out and approach him, asking if he has coke. The guy says he has their coke they want and pulls a gun on them. Oops.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Test subject.
Mano Negra brings Santos Castellanos (Luis Carlos Fuquen) to a club, where he is to get someone to try their new drug. He’s concerned, as there could be cameras and it’s risky. Mano Negra assures him that he owns the club, which is why they’re using it. No risk. He’s appeased and goes in search of a test subject.
He eventually chats up a woman who thinks he is too short for her. She will, however, have some shots with him. After he thinks she’s sufficiently buzzed, he starts singing the praises of something that she must try. She is amused that he’s giving such a big sales pitch, and says it’s not needed. It won’t be the first time she tries a drug. It will, however, be her first time being the only person ever to sample it. She likes that, and pops the pill in her mouth.
