‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we might just be seeing Kate Mansi’s name on your favorite show as more than just an actor someday. Maybe even soon. Mansi recently took to Instagram to share a huge milestone with followers via a couple of different photos. Here’s what you need to know.
‘Days of Our Lives’: Background
Fans of the show know her as Abigail DiMera, wife of Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and part of one of Salem’s more well-known families. She recently left the show for a Paris adventure, which is being shown via the web series Chad & Abby in Paris. It’s currently in it’s second season and bringing twists that might just play a part in the main show soon. But there’s something else keeping her busy these days.
‘Days of Our Lives’: New profession?
There’s talk that there is going to be more special content, including a show that takes viewers behind the scenes with Mansi. Her recent posts seems to be confirmation of this.

In the first post, Mansi showed a picture she took herself that shows a work space filled with notebooks, bags, and other objects. She described the shot of being special to her because it documents the beginning of a new phase for her: directing. She talked about how honored she was to shadow and learn about the craft.
The post earned some support from her on-screen counterpart, Marci Miller. The other Abigail Deveraux commented with a series on emojis expressing excitement for Mansi’s new adventure.
‘Days of Our Lives’: A mama’s prerogative
Of course, a new challenge means capturing the milestone. Kate Dimera shared a second post that had two pictures. Each were taken by her on-screen mother, Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton). One shows her hard at work, while the other has Mansi with a slightly irritated look on her face. In the accompanying text, she jokes that “good mama” Reeves made sure to document the moment, but Mansi, like any respectable daughter, had to eventually ask Mom to get out of the way so she can see the monitor.

Also like most good kids, she expressed gratitude to Reeves for capturing the moment, as she is now grateful to have the images. Every kid ends up learning that lesson eventually, no? We wish Mansi a lot of luck in her new challenge, and hope to see her name flashing across the screen during Days sometime soon.
