'Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Star Beth Maitland Has Something To Celebrate!

‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that star Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott) has a reason to celebrate this week. That’s because she’s now back in the opening credits of the soap. Here’s what she has to say!

As many fans know, Beth Maitland made her first debut on the hit CBS soap back in 1982. Even though her character was only supposed to hang around for a couple of episodes, she managed to convince producers to keep her on full-time. And the rest as they say is history.

Now Beth revealed that she is so excited to be back in the opening credits after almost two decades! Sharing a screenshot of the most recent episode of The Young and the Restless on Instagram, the actress wrote, “Canada today, US tomorrow. So excited to be back after over two decades in the opening credits. Thank you @youngandrestlesscbs@cbsdaytime @mattykane1 #tonymarina #josh Griffith #grateful#actorslife.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for her fans to respond. A lot of her co-stars including Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott), Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) and Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) all replied and congratulated her.

Other comments from her fans included, “It’s about time’ I’m glad they are finally changing things up!!” along with, “You should have always been a regular on the show you bring so much peace and love to everyone.” Another fan wrote, “Well you look as beautiful as the first day you were in ‘Young and the Restless’.”

We definitely agree with that last comment there. Now, as far as what’s in store for Tracy Abbott remains to be seen. But we do know that she’s got a lot of work ahead of her with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
