‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, September 17 lead to more problems for Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) gets an unwelcome surprise, and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) gives Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) a dose of reality. We’ve also got Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) being stubborn and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) opening his big mouth unintentionally.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Stir-crazy
Julie is going nuts being cooped up in the hospital. She’s also scared, it seems, and desperate for a bit of control over the situation she’s in. She wants to get a second opinion. Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), however, doesn’t agree. He talks Julie down, which she’s grateful for, by assuring her that this hospital is the right place to help her. They’ve seen their share of miracles, and he’s sure another one is on the way.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Open mouth, insert foot
Speaking of Julie, Rafe Hernandez is on his way to the guardianship hearing when he happens upon Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). He wants to know how things are going with Julie and is sad to hear the news. He immediately begins apologizing on Gabi’s behalf, saying she swears she had no idea Julie was having a real heart attack.

Hope didn’t know that Gabi was there, and is surprised. She seems willing to believe his story, though, then wishes him luck at the hearing. Before they part, he wants a little advice about what to do regarding Ben and letting him see baby David. Hope says that Ben is proving himself and actually saved Julie’s life. But will it help?
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Enough is enough
Back at the hospital, Gabi was seeking info about Kate DiMera’s (Lauren Koslow) condition when she’s confronted by Lani Price (Sal Stowers). Gabi can’t even with Lani’s attitude and they argue a bit, which leads to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) learning about her leaving Julie at the park.
Gabi swears she thought Julie was faking, then basically tells them they can believe whatever they like. She is clearly still affected, though, because she ends up in Julie’s room trying to clear up the confusion. Julie is obvious her normal self and won’t hear a word of it, which causes them to fight. Gabi is calling her some choice names when Hope walks in and demands to know what’s going on. Gabi tries to explain, but it does not good. Hope removes Gabi from the room and leaves an agitated Julie alone in the room. Outside, Lani and Eli are told what happened and Eli demands that Gabi stay away from him and his family from now on.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Crisis of confidence
Ben’s smarting from the things Victor said about him. When Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) gets in with some smoothies, she notices he doesn’t seem right and wants to know what’s going on. Ben doesn’t spill the beans on Victor. He does, however, admit to questioning whether being around little David is a good idea after all. Ciara thinks the kid would be lucky to know him.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: She’s baa-ck
Ben and Ciara later drop by Rafe’s after the hearing, at Rafe’s invitation. He’s excited and even bought a toy for his nephew. Unfortunately, that excitement doesn’t last. When they walk inside, Rafe informs them that Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) doesn’t approve of him seeing the child. Ciara thinks it doesn’t matter what “that crazy witch” has to say.
We’d happen to agree. A woman who tried to burn another person alive and frame another for that and a kidnapping isn’t exactly a reliable judge of character. Sadly, it seems she does have a thing or two to say, because Jordan herself steps out of the other room. Hmm. Looks like someone is allegedly recovered.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Tough love
Finally, Maggie Kiriakis confronts Victor about his killing Ben plot. His dead pan reactions are awesome, but Maggie isn’t as impressed. She thinks Victor has made a horrible mistake by trying harm Ben, who by all accounts, seems to be a changed man. Victor doesn’t buy it and remains determined to get him out of Ciara’s life. He also is ticked at Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) for clearly being the snitch and wants to throw his pathetic self out of Casa Kiriakis. Maggie won’t hear of it. Furthermore, she warns Victor that this move could push Ciara away if she learns about it.
