BH90210 spoilers for September 11th indicate that the gang is settling in for a long wait to find out if they’ll get picked up, a lot of resolutions, and some serious questions left behind as well. If you missed it, let’s talked about it in the BH90210 recap.
BH90210 spoilers: Threat to their survival
Now that the pilot is shot, everyone’s awaiting what the think is the inevitable: a pickup. Not so fast. According to Christine Elise (Emily Valentine), the network has four slots to fill, and not everyone can get on air.
The OC is also preparing a reboot, which could potentially take their place, especially once word comes that FOX has already picked three shows so far. Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders) calls the OC a rip-off of their show and points out they were “often imitated, never duplicated.”
In an effort to get the show picked up, Christine encourages them to really throw themselves into the Peach Pit Popup and create buzz through social media.
BH90210 spoilers: The test
The shows hopes are basically in the hands of test audiences. Christine refuses to share the results of the testing with Tori Spelling (Donna Martin), but Tori manages to trick an assistant into handing them over.
Jennie Garth’s (Kelly Taylor) story is seen as depressing, Ian’s is considered an “ode to toxic masculinity”, and the audiences are apparently disturbed by the chemistry between brother/sister characters Brandon and Brenda Walsh (Jason Priestley and Shannen Doherty). Not only that, but Tori is seen as polarizing as a person, yet fun as Donna—especially when with David Silver (Brian Austin Green). The results have everyone kind of freaked, and Christine saying “I told you so.”
The best moment has to be when Shannen takes offense to Brenda needing to be a troublemaker, claiming Kelly was the real troublemaker and slut. Ha! We’re loving how someone’s finally making reference to the other side in the whole “Summer of Deception” thing, as well as Kelly’s status as the so-called moral one.
BH90210 spoilers: Shannen’s freak out
Shannen is, as we mentioned, not happy to get some of that feedback. She’s also dealing with a lot of panic over doing a full show and having to fly to New York. This is requiring her to do a lot of meditation, and she ends up having a daymare while doing so. It’s about Brenda lamenting being over London and “pretending” before starting to make out with Brandon.
BH90210 spoilers: Jason’s reality check
Meanwhile, Jason is on an island with Camille (Vanessa Lachey) while everyone else is back in LA trying to create that buzz. He’s making a great effort, which Camille notices and appreciates. She just feels like it’s been clear for a long time that things won’t work between them. This is especially true now that she’s carrying another guy’s baby. She thinks it’s best if they end things and try to stay friends and business associates.
Jason agrees, and eventually goes back to attend some show stuff.
BH90210 spoilers: Jennie’s jealousy
Jennie spends a lot of this episode being a bit jealous of Kyler’s (Karis Cameron) Shannen worship. She quotes Shannen’s Instagram, and is in awe of the fact Shannen was late for the Peach Pit Popup thing because she was rescuing an animal.
Eventually, they talk it out and Kyler actually admits that her mom can be right sometimes. Jennie’s reaction is awesome, and we’re assuming that Kyler will be okay, even if she’s only got one line in this pilot.

BH9020 spoilers: Ian’s dream
Ian’s story today revolves around him wanting something more than a casual thing that he currently has with Anna (Natalie Sharp). He’s at a point in his life where he is ready for real commitment and a family. Anna, however, isn’t. She’s got a lot going on in her life right now, and an actor wouldn’t be her choice for a steady thing. She’s got a famous mom, and it’s kind of made her shy away from that whole thing.
Later, Ian gets the chance to re-connect with Denise Richards at a party, where they reminisce about her guest stint on the show before hooking up. He probably ends up regretting that when he learns that she is the famous mom that Anna was speaking of.
BH90210 spoilers: Gabrielle’s problem
Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea Zuckerman) is still somewhat struggling with her need to explore and the effect it could have on her 30-year marriage. When she and her husband are talking alone later, he admits to knowing that Christine is the woman that Gabrielle had a thing with. He’s oddly not threatened by this, which Gabrielle figures is because Christine’s a woman. He’s willing to be patient, but he’s not sure how much longer he’s going to be able to wait while Gabrielle explores her feelings. She’s grateful he’s being this understanding and calls him her best friend.
BH90210 spoilers: Brian’s war
Brian is furious today, as he learns Shay (La La Anthony) had Zach (Ty Wood) investigated and learns that his DNA is not a match for Brian’s. She claims she’s just looking out for him and their family, while Brian thinks that she’s just trying to take control over this. They are fighting a lot of the episode, and Brian admits to Tori later, that he feels unappreciated and has some what-ifs going on.
Later, he shows Jason a picture of himself and Zach’s mom from the set and Jason looks a bit freaked. We see that he is actually in the background of the photo and is looking at Brian and the mystery mom. And we suddenly don’t know why we didn’t notice the actor playing Zach is a total Jason clone.
BH90210 spoilers: Tori’s wish
Tori’s feeling much the same, as Nate (Ivan Sergei) complains a lot today about all he has to do, and needing help. She insists that she is also working hard and needs a little help herself. She tells Brian she also feels unappreciated, and wishes that she had the long, happy union her fictional character does. She’s also got massive debt and needs this to happen, as “garnish” is apparently no longer a fun thing that makes your breath smell good.
BH90210 spoilers: Victory?
Finally, the cast gets the good news that they managed to win a slot on the FOX schedule. Everyone is happy and celebrating in New York, where some of this drama we’ve been talking about has been unfolding. There’s just one problem.
It seems that the network has no money so the show’s moving production to Canada, the guest cast is being recast, there will be a new pilot, and one of the main seven isn’t coming back to save money. What will happen? We’re definitely hopeful a new season will be produced so we can find out.
