General Hospital spoilers: Reception frustration
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is still trying to process Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) invitation when Dev throws his two cents in. This infuriates her some more, but Dev seems to be enjoying her discomfort.
After some more arguing, she eventually gets Dev to stay out of it long enough for her to decline the invite. She doesn’t think she’s in a place to do anything more than be a drag at the party. Cameron says he understands, but he’s really dreading the celebration.
Lucky for him, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) had arrived. After being introduced to Sonny’s “cousin”, Trina begs off their plans, claiming her mom had just messaged her to say she wants her at home. It was just a ruse, though. While waiting for a ride outside, Trina explains to Cameron that she was giving Joss time to process and maybe change her mind. She also offers to go with Cameron in her place. What would these kids do without her? Maybe she can tackle the Dev/Joss animosity next.
General Hospital spoilers: Planning ahead
Speaking of Dev, Sonny has arranged to meet with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to get all the appropriate papers and such they’ll need to pass Dev off as family. Brick is curious if the kid is up to it, but Sonny assures him that Dev’s accent is perfect and he’s more than capable of handling pressure. He assures Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) of the same when Michael shows up wanting to know what’s up with the new guy at the house.
While they talk, Sonny spots Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) with Zahra Amir (Maysoon Zayid). He excuses himself to offer her a deal. He’ll double whatever Shiloh is paying to drop him as a client. While she takes the card, she also points out she’s a family attorney and quite booked, thanks. Sonny uses Ava Jerome (Maura West) as an excuse to hire her, then makes it clear the offer stands if she’d like to accept.
General Hospital spoilers: Moment of truth
After having visited with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in the previous episode, Kristina is feeling like the time has come to spill the beans. She asks Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) to have a session with her and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). She says she needs to come clean, and she’s afraid it won’t happen if she doesn’t do it now.
He agrees to the session, and the three sit down. Kristina admits to claiming that Alexis purposefully ran down Kristina’s abusive ex, despite knowing the whole thing was an accident. She chastises herself for doing so, and for thinking she needed to impress Shiloh. Alexis is, understandably, hurt and wants to know why she would lie about that when so many things could be used for Sonny. Kristina claims that lying about an incident felt less like a betrayal than giving up something that could be real about her father.
General Hospital Spoilers: Clearing the Air
The session is helpful on two levels. One, it clears the air between mother and daughter. Two, it also allows Alexis the chance to apologize again for crossing a line, explain how she knew about his daughter, and take responsibility for reading the link despite not being the one who did the digging. This eventually leads Neil to forgive her for the breech of trust and take her back as a patient.
General Hospital spoilers: Breakthrough
Speaking of breakthroughs, there are several events in the DoD thing, the fir=st being a confrontation. Kristina saw Shiloh meeting with his attorney, then confronted him. She once more accuses him of being a predator and vows to testify against him if the custody case goes anywhere. Zahra gives Shiloh another dose of reality after by saying she’ll make a compelling witness. She also points out that there are a lot of hurdles for him to get through yet to prove that Wiley is his.
Meanwhile, Harmony (Inga Cadranel) gets a visit from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in jail. As we figured, when he presents the case for Shiloh murdering her ex, Harmony suddenly turns team Willow and agrees to help with the case.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sam McCall, A One Woman Army!
In Beechers Corners, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is also making progress. She has gotten managed to convince Carol Lockhart (Mandy Musgrave) to talk to her. While Carol is checking on her dog, Sam waits at the diner. Shiloh’s enforcer comes along and chats her up, so she plays her part. He never seems to suspect a thing, and even invites her to check out DoD. When he leaves, Sam gets to work and records Carol giving her statement about what happened the night of Douglas Miller’s murder.
She also has it written out, and Sam assures her this is going to be more than enough to get her out of Beechers Corners to give her statement officially in Port Charles. Nice knowing you, Shiloh. Maybe your lawyer should do you a favor and drop you after all, because you’re going to need the money for a criminal attorney soon.
