‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers: Bad news/Good news
Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) is crushed to learn that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is days away from death. After beating herself up a minute about being too wrapped up in her own stuff to check on him more, she rushes to his bedside, where she proceeds to fall apart like a little baby. Obviously deciding they need to do something to lift her spirits, Will and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) let her know they’re getting married.

She is thrilled by this, and it does seem to get her back under control. Deciding they need a little something to make this more official, Gabi hands a ring to Will and he uses it for a second proposal in front of her.
Also hit hard by this is Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves), who can’t believe there’s nothing to be done. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) goes over the diary situation again. This leads Jennifer to decide it’s time to have a chat with Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva).
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Enough
Still at the cabin, Haley Chen (Thia Megia) has been arrested, much to Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) displeasure. She freaks out when he goes to cuff Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) as well, swearing that he had nothing to do with her fleeing. She claims he was there to talk her into turning herself in. In her panic, the smoke inhalation symptoms get bad so the two men take her to the hospital to get checked out more.
In her hospital room, Haley has resigned herself to a life in China when JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) arrives. He asks for a minute alone with Haley. As soon as Eli leaves, he starts in on how he can get her out of here and still make their trip to Canada work. Haley, already having saved Tripp from being charged and knowing JJ has a charge pending as well, refuses. She’s tired of running, tired of having to look over her shoulder, and unwilling to keep putting others in a bad spot for her sake. As far as she’s concerned it’s over, and if he wants to be with her, well… he better start learning Chinese.
‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers: Switching sides
Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) is having quite the day. First, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) takes off, Rory () claims Ben threatened him, then she learns that the Horton cabin was set ablaze and Ben’s in custody. She can’t wrap her hear around what’s going on, so she goes to the Salem PD to see Ben herself. Eve, of course, kind of gloats about how the cops caught Ben with a lighter. We’d like to remind her, and the rest of the PD, that Ben was using a cloth to hold it and didn’t look remotely like he’d just used it. Just saying.
Ciara sees Ben, who tells her all about the ringtone of Claire’s that he remembered from the night of the fire. Ciara is in denial at first, but eventually comes to realize that Claire is most likely the culprit here, as well as for the fire she almost died in. Ciara’s more than ready to confront Claire, but Ben talks her out of it. He thinks a better tactic is for Ciara to pretend she believes Ben’s relapsed. That way, Claire will feel more comfortable and be more susceptible to saying the wrong thing. Ciara doesn’t want to do it at first, but eventually agrees it’ll be the best tactic.
Meanwhile, Claire is freaking out to Eve about Ben’s suspicions. Eve claims since the cops caught him at the scene with a lighter (again… in a cloth. Let’s not forget this little detail), it’ll be a snap to take him down for this, as well as the other fire. Together, they plot a feasible motive for the act, and Eve tells Claire she better not set any more fires. Sigh. This mother-daughter thing she’s feeling for Claire (and her hate for Ben) is really clouding her judgement. We can’t believe we’re actually starting to miss Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) in the office.
