The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katrina Bowden Opens Up About Florence Fulton's Morally Dubious Persona, Defends Flo's Actions Amidst Criticism

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that there aren’t a lot of people who could call themselves a fan of Florence ‘Flo’ Fulton (Katrina Bowden) and there’s a good reason for it. After all, she’s been hiding a secret that will rock the Forrester, Spencer and Logan families once it comes out. And while a lot of people are pointing their fingers at Flo for being a dishonest person who played a role in destroying Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) life, actress Katrina Bowden is now defending her character. She says that there’s more to Flo than what everyone is seeing and that she’s not the villain some people are making her out to be.

Speaking to CBS Soaps in Depth, the blonde beauty says Flo sometimes feels that she’s stuck in the middle. She got sucked in by Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) and now his daughter Zoe (Kiara Barnes) is giving her the utmost hell over it. “She’s furious at Reese for bringing her into this mess,” said Bowden, “and she’s also really sick of Zoe telling her what to do every two seconds!”

Thankfully, Flo has one person that she can rely on: her mother, Shauna Fulton, played by actress Denise Richards. With Shauna by her side, Flo has been able to breathe a little easier in Los Angeles!

“She was a single mom raising her daughter, so they have a very close bond and love each other a lot,” said Bowden. “I’m still very new, too, but it was nice to show her what I’ve learned so far. She’s awesome.”

Now as far as whether or not Flo will tell the truth to Hope about her baby remains to be seen. For now, she’s taking things one scene at a time. “It’s draining but fun,” agreed the actress, who has no problem crying on cue. “I love those really intense, emotional scenes.”
