General Hospital spoilers update for Monday, May 1 indicate that as we count down the days to Oscar’s final departure, GH will start focusing on his family members and what his impending death is doing to them. Also we’ll get to check up on Oscar and see just how he’s doing.
General Hospital Spoilers Wednesday, May 1 Update: Oscar Thinks He Feels Better, Joss In Ecstatic At Possible Convalescence – Miraculous Recovery Or Adrenaline Burst Before Teen’s Tragic Final Breath?
Poor Olivia Quartermaine will be hiding out in a quiet room, crying. Ned is the one to find her. Chances are she didn’t want to upset Oscar because he had said when he first moved into the Quartermaine mansion that he didn’t want anyone crying. She’s trying her best, bless her. This loss will remind Olivia of all the other losses she’s had over the years, and she will need Ned’s support to get through those old memories.
General Hospital spoilers relate that Elizabeth will wonder how Dr. Terry Randolph to see how she’s doing with the outcome of Oscar’s case. She will admit that it’s very hard with terminal patients, that even though she’s done her best that there’s nothing more she can do to save them from the inevitable. Often no one checks up on the welfare of doctors when it comes to losing their patients, GH brings a surprisingly human side to the medical profession with this little exchange.
Drew and Kim have a deep conversation. Drew says that Oscar has fought for every moment he’s had on this earth so far and that he will soon be free of pain and fear, so maybe the battle was worth it after all. Julian will also offer his support to Kim, it’ll be good to see him back in the picture. (Guess Ava took up a little—make that a lot—of his time.)
In other GH spoilers, Carly and Sonny are both worried about Josslyn, but they can’t save her from heartbreak. However, Sonny will give Carly a bit of a peptalk. He will tell her that they made it through Morgan’s death and she can certainly help Joss through this death as well. Carly is heartened.
Oscar will get Joss’s hopes up when he says he suddenly, inexplicably feels better. Joss will imagine what it will be like if Oscar suddenly did make a miraculous recovery. However that won’t be the case, unfortunately dying patients sometimes feel a burst of energy right before they start declining again and that’s what is happening here. Be prepared to cry, folks. Get your tissues and stay tuned!!!
