General Hospital Recap Tuesday, May 7: Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks Is Back and Already Has Obvious Chemistry With Carly – Trouble In Carson Land?
The Corinthos-Davis families lucked out big time today in more ways than one, all because of Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Thanks to Willow sharing her story, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) decides not to take the out Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) gave her. Instead, she decides to go home with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is relieved, but the good vibes take a sudden turn.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has finally managed to find Kristina and enters the house, wanting to know what’s going on. There’s a slight tense moment before Kristina assures Chase that everything is okay. She claims she needed time to get clear on some things and all is well. After Chase is gone, Neil marvels at the family’s lying abilities in the face of crime. Kristina and Sonny cracked us up by saying “alleged crime” in perfect unison. Yeah, she’s not trained in what to say about Daddy’s… activities.
In related DoD news, Willow is thrilled to learn that Kristina’s okay, and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is going through a rushed Trust initiation with only Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been informed Kristina’s good and he needs to get Sam out of there.
General Hospital spoilers: Jasper Jacks returns.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is thrilled to see that Jasper is in Port Charles for an indefinite time frame. He’d been keeping in contact with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) throughout the whole Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) situation and was apparently a big source of support. He’d avoided coming back before now, because he sensed he could help her better from a distance, which Carly agrees with. Now that Oscar is gone, he feels it’s time to be closer to her.
We love the chemistry between the two actors and how they are so obviously good friends despite whatever problems that led to them not being together anymore. It’s actually nice how most of the GH characters who have kids by more than one person seem to do that. Well… except for Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). We’re looking forward to seeing father/daughter scenes soon. It didn’t happen today, though, because Joss has been sleeping a lot after dedicating so much time and energy to being with Oscar as much as possible.

General Hospital spoilers: Mystery solved?
Anna had been on the wrong track for a while, but now she is positive that she knows what memory belongs to Alex Marick—having Peter August (Wes Ramsey). She now realizes that this is what makes the most sense and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) agrees. Despite her gut feeling telling her this is the case, she does feel like he’s hers, thanks to the power of that memory transfer and thinks she could actually love Peter as a son. She won’t be sharing what she’s realized about their relationship, and Finn thinks that’s for the best. After all, there’s no actual proof.
General Hospital spoilers: Paris, anyone?
Speaking of Peter, he and Maxie Jones (Kristin Storms) are finally going out on a date. To Paris. Of course, Maxie doesn’t know that at first. She’s completely blown away, and we gotta say that only in soaps can a first official date be jetting off to Paris.
The trip isn’t without its problems, though, as Peter is close to turning the plane around before they can arrive at their destination. Maxie suddenly having to get up and make use of the restroom in the middle of a sweet moment (seriously?) makes him think she’s not ready for any of this. Maxie talks him out of it, saying that she is obviously freaked about moving on, but she’s got to do it, so she has to go through with this trip.
