General Hospital spoilers: It gets better

Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) accompanied Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to a practice, but Josslyn was unable to make it very long. She feels bad, but Jasper’s proud of her for even making the effort.

Inside the house, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is stressing about Joss coming back early, and how she didn’t think Joss should have even gone to school that day. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) thinks it was a good thing she wanted to, and stuck it out as long as she did. It’s better than being holed up in her room. Carly concedes the point, but she still is worried.

General Hospital spoilers: Party on

If you remember, Oscar had asked Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Wally Kurth and Lisa LoCicero) to take charge of his memorial, something he didn’t want to be a sad funeral. He wanted people to get right to the food and memories part.  To that end, they put together a gathering that included basically everyone connected to Oscar. They share their stories over a meal and enjoy the outdoors as they do.

Joss and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) have possibly the best and most moving speeches. Cameron remembers how Oscar taught him about bravery by never giving up or feeling sorry for himself, while Joss talked about first meeting Oscar and how lucky she was to love him and be loved by him.

Later on, Ned and Olivia cap off the celebration with a surprise. They have everyone move to the park, where a section has been designated “Oscar’s Meadow”. They hand everyone small bags filled with seeds, which get thrown into the air. They’re planning that one of these days soon, the area will be filled with beauty. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and Drew Cain (Billy Miller) appreciate the gesture, and Kim hopes Joss will take the time to come visit it. She also thanks Joss for having been a part of Oscar’s life and wishes for a happy, full life for Joss.

As for Drew, later he’s comforted by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), who assures him he was a great dad to Oscar and will continue to be so for their daughter. He’s a little worried about losing his other child as well, but Sam reassures him.

GH spoilers: Final wishes

Oscar didn’t just help plan this day, he left some messages behind for those closest to him. One is making a tree house on the grounds so that the current and future Quartermaine kids will have something nice to enjoy. With Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) help, plans were drawn and left with a letter charging Drew and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) with the construction. He hoped this would help bring them closer together.

For Joss, he left instructions to take that hike up to Falcon Mountain (all the way, whether she wants to or not) with Trina (Sydney Mikayla), which makes Joss mock offended that the message left wasn’t about him loving her and her being the best thing that ever happened to him. Trina assures her that was definitely the case.
