EastEnders spoilers indicate that Ben Mitchell’s (Max Bowden) days in Walford might be numbered. Ever since he returned he has been nothing but trouble for those around him, especially his father Phil Mitchell who he has desperately been trying to take down. However, his latest move in which he almost took an innocent life has angered viewers the most, with a lot of people calling for him to get the boot. Here’s what you need to know.
EastEnders Spoilers: Is Ben Mitchell Leaving Walford?
The drama began when Ben organized a hitman to take out Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick). Billy found out what was going on thanks to Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold). Ben was determined to get Billy out of the picture. That’s when he decided to get a hitman to get rid of Billy once and for all. However, his plan backfired on him when he saw Billy out with his young son Will.
As the hitman began to drive towards Billy and his son, Ben yelled out for the mercenary to hold his fire. While he didn’t shoot his gun at them, he did end up driving towards them. That’s when Ben decided to take matters into his own hands and ran over to push Billy and Will out of the way in order to save them. But when Billy glanced over at his son, he noticed that the young boy was unconscious and bleeding. They called an ambulance immediately.
Needless to say, a lot of Eastenders fans were none too pleased with this scenario and are now asking for Ben to get the boot! Some fans have even taken to their Twitter accounts to express just how angry they are at Ben for almost killing Billy’s son Will. So far producers for the show have not revealed Ben’s fate.
