General Hospital Spoilers: Oscar Worries He Won't Make It To Nurse's Ball, Sonny's Plot To Destroy Shiloh's Leverage Over Kristina Blocked By Neil

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is concerned, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) runs interference, and Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) is getting settled into the Quartermaine mansion. In case you missed the General Hospital spoilers, check out the highlights on your General Hospital recap.

General Hospital Spoilers: Oscar Worries He Won’t Make It To Nurse’s Ball, Sonny’s Plot To Destroy Shiloh’s Leverage Over Kristina Blocked By Neil

It seems Oscar has resigned himself to the inevitable and chosen to live the rest of his days at the Quartermaine’s with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and Drew Cain (Billy Miller). Ned and Olivia Quatermaine (Wally Kurth and Lisa LoCicero) welcome him with open arms, determined to make him comfortable. While mom and dad are busy dealing with their luggage, Oscar uses the alone time to ask Ned and Olivia a very important favor: plan his funeral. Or, a memorial is more like it.

He doesn’t want to burden his parents, as they’ll already be having enough to deal with. He gives them a detailed list, but Olivia can’t promise she’ll stick to the “no crying” stipulation. She cries at everything, including TV commercials with Sarah McLaughlin music. Oscar agrees those are brutal. Ha! We’re totally with them on that assessment.

Meanwhile, Joss has been working on a song she’s co-writing with Oscar. They’re hoping to finish in time to perform it at the Nurse’s Ball. She gets dropped off at the Quartermaine’s to go over what’s she’s got with Oscar. He’s liking what he sees, but he hints that she might want to find someone else to perform the song with. She’s shocked, and refuses to sing this with anyone but him. He says there’s every chance he won’t be around to, and he doesn’t want to let her down. She thinks they’re getting ahead of themselves, and should just focus on finishing the song for now. He agrees, but his pushing through some fatigue later to keep working tells us he’s worried that he might not have time to finish writing, either.  We can’t. This story is downright evil.

Related to this, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) comes across Kim and promises that they’re all family here, and family has each other’s back. This includes her. She’s grateful for that, yet still overwhelmed by being in a place where her guest room is bigger than her whole apartment. Ha!

GH Spoilers: I’ll write you a check

Alexis runs interference in two ways today. First of all, with Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). He and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) had dropped by Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) to find out if he’d heard from Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth). They ask Alexis, and Alexis claims that Kristina called her to say she got cold feet about a big choice and needed to think. Sam backs her up by saying that sounds a lot like her sister, and Shiloh seems to buy it. He makes Alexis promise to tell Kristina to call him personally when she hears from her again before he and Sam leave.

After, she saves Kristina’s job. Seems Julian is a bit angry over getting left hanging and wants to fire her. He mentions helping her out with an advance on her salary and everything, so she should have at least given notice. Alexis tries to plead her daughter’s case, but Julian is not having it. She finally whips out her checkbook and hands over the 10K he gave Kristina—as long as Kristina can keep her job. He ends up agreeing.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The pledge

Kristina’s pledge to join The Trust is a hot topic today—especially with Sonny. He’d learned yesterday that his daughter gave up info to join, and he’s positive it has to be something on him. It’s the logical deduction, as they can’t think of a thing Kristina could spill on herself that would be blackmail worthy. He and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) discuss it, and conclude the pledge needs to be found and destroyed. Jason wants to do the deed himself, but Sonny thinks Sam is in a better position. Jason protests, but Sonny points out that the DA is on Shiloh’s side, so they’re not exactly playing from a position of strength.

Later, he has a meeting with Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) where he can’t even with Shiloh’s book. Neil says trying to see the book through Kristina’s eyes is key to helping her (and them) through this whole process. While they meet, Sonny mentions the blackmail possibility and wanting to ask Kristina what she shared. Neil basically forbids Sonny to do it, arguing that she’s in a fragile place. If he brings that up, she could end up destroyed by the idea she betrayed someone close to her. He asks Sonny if he’s ever seen glass shatter. We have to crack up at the idea a “humble coffee importer” hasn’t.

Also related, Neil and Alexis have a minor argument over him not telling her what was going on when they had their impromptu session. He argues that he didn’t know at the time, and then upsets her more by refusing to answer any personal questions. Namely, if he’s got personal experience with cults.

Also today: Anna Devane (Fiona Hughes) is still obsessing about Robin Scorpio-Drake’s (Kimberly McCullough) true parentage, and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) offers that there are better genetic tests now that can determine what twin is the mom. She’s intrigued, but dismisses the tests after learning Alex Marick and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) would need to be involved. Not to mention her worry over telling Robin until she has answers. Later, we seem to get a resolution to this sudden story twist that seems completely anticlimactic. Looking through photos gives her the idea to search through some boxes, where she claims to find proof she’s Robin’s mother. Really? That easy? Okay, then…
