In case you missed the Days of Our Lives spoilers, let’s catch up on the highlights with today’s Days of Our Lives recap.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Jordan’s Baby Father Mystery Shocks Rafe – Eve Puts Claire On Brink Of Complete Mental Breakdown
Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) has surprised Jack with her saving-face announcement they’re getting married. She goes on about how their campaign is bringing truth to Salem, while Abe’s is only bringing lies. Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) is the only one who doesn’t buy this for a second.
She questions Eve about her ring, and Eve quickly pretends the one she’s got on her right hand is the engagement ring. She just didn’t wanna put it on that hand until they’d spilled the beans. When Jennifer gets alone time with Jack, she calls BS and says she knows his deer-in-the-headlight look, then takes a shot at his manly pride by saying he’s just Eve’s puppet. Later on, Jack calls Eve out for the surprise move, but agrees to go along for the sake of the campaign. He makes it clear, though, their marriage will be about as fake as Hayley Chen’s (Thia Megia) and Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams). So much for that whole bringing-the-truth thing, huh?
As for Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan), she is hopping mad about that tech glitch and wants this thing over with already. She accuses Eve of not giving a crap about her and her problems, and Eve tells her that’s not true. She actually is looking at her as a daughter, and claims it feels good to nurture a young woman again after her loss. She swears that they are going to succeed in getting rid of Hayley.
Meanwhile, Abe has rejected Sheila Watkins’ (Tionne Watkins) suggestions for bringing the mudslinging, leading to tension between the two today. It seems palpable, because Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) notices. He pulls her aside, where Sheila assures him there’s no major problems here.

Baby drama
Meanwhile, Abe is noticing a problem. See, Eli and Lani are in the company of baby David, who they’d introduced to Abe. Abe is immediately concerned that she might be getting a little too attached, as is clear from the looks he’s giving her. We’ll see how she handles handing over baby David to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) in the days ahead.
You want me to what?
Rafe had gone to see Jordan to assure her that her baby is here and safe. She wants to see him right away and even suggests being able to care for him there. Right. Like they’re going to let an attempted-murdering mental patient have her baby living with her in the facility. Rafe basically suggests as much by telling her she should be focusing on her healing right now. He asks her who the father is, which Jordan reacts strongly to. She doesn’t want the father to have anything to do with him. Nor does she want her brother to care for the child. Rafe’s like, “We’re kinda running out of options to keep this kid out of the system.” As a solution, Jordan suggests that Rafe himself can take charge of the child until she’s healthy again. He’s the only one she trusts. Oh, Hope is going to love that.
Speaking of Hope, she still doesn’t seem all that upset about the kiss from Pepe Laurent, despite her protesting she’s married and she’d already told him this can’t happen again. Furthermore, she doesn’t really think she should be discussing her marriage with him anymore. Pepe suggests that maybe she shouldn’t be in her marriage anymore, and that Rafe should be paying her more attention than his exes. This can only end well.
