Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Chloe Finally Giving In To Stefan, But On A Condition
Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is still trying to get Victor to bring her into the Titan fold. He’s thinking no, because he’s not going to be pulled into her personal vendettas. Plus, you know, he doesn’t trust her. Kate reminds him of the old days and insists they have the same killer instincts, he’s just let his get tamed by a certain Mrs. He claims he hasn’t gone that soft (we disagree, otherwise Greg Rikaart’s Leo Stark would have had an accident a long time ago). Of course, the woman herself, Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) shows up and wants to know what they’re talking about. He doesn’t explain, really, but you can tell Kate’s words have had an impact.
Monster-in-Law?
Maggie’s been a busy girl today. When she wasn’t busy interrupting potential business dealings, she was letting Rex know in no uncertain terms she doesn’t trust him. She says she can’t help worrying that Rex might hurt Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) again. She also lets it slip (right…) that Sarah might have had some feelings for Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). He wants to know if there’s something he isn’t aware of. She thinks that’s not for her to say, and he should ask Sarah. Rebounding, cheating, and interference. Yeah, this marriage has “win” written all over it.
After Maggie put some doubts in his mind, Rex, obviously, comes across Sarah and Eric at the pub. He thinks they’re looking awfully serious. She explains how they were talking about the situation with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) at the DiMera mansion and Brady’s request. Rex doesn’t seem to think there’s much to talk about, as the leverage is gone. He’s so hinting if there’s anything else to know, and it’s awesome how pathetic he is. Especially when he takes Sarah’s hand and pulls her to him to give her a big old kiss right in front of his brother. Dude. Why not just get a bat, knock her out, then drag her back to the apartment?
Just can’t take a hint
You’d think Brady would have learned his lesson after the ill-fated blackmail attempt (and the scare he gave Chloe before) and stay out of it. Nope. He’s got a new plan. This time, he wants Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) to seduce Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), marry him, then take him to the cleaner’s. Gabi’s “say what?” reaction is awesome, but Brady’s not taking no for an answer. Stefan wants a family and kid so bad, Brady is sure he’ll take the bait. And who’s calling who soulless? Gee. What a horrible, evil man to want a family after having none most of his life… #whostherealmonster
Gabi’s agreed to go for it, but there may be a complication: Chloe. Despite getting angry with him for not providing info to the Salem PD before the bad guys managed to get away, she’s still willing to stick it out with him. Stefan swears he’s going to do everything in his power to save her and the kids—he just doesn’t trust the cops. I’d say that’s a smart stance in the land of failed prosecutions. What’s more, it seems she’s even more open to exploring their feelings once she’s safe.
