‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Keeps Searching For Dante, But Will He Recognize Him Once He Finds Him? Must-See GH Promo Teases Darker Dante Returns To Port Charles

‘General Hospital’ spoilers relate that someone has to face up to a hard truth, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) continues the search for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) has to face up to her scheme along with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). In case you missed all the General Hospital spoilers, we’ll fill you in on highlights with your General Hospital recap of the day.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Face the music

It might be the start of a new week for us all, but in Port Charles, it’s bringing some fallout from last week. Specifically, Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) reaction to it all. She is warm, and she makes sure Franco knows it. She gives him hell over not trusting her, as well as the trauma the kids faced when the cops turn their place upside down. He’s sorry for it all, but she’s not sure that’s enough.

Later, Jordan, who’s back in work mode despite her condition, gets a chilly hello from Elizabeth while she’s doing her rounds. Elizabeth then gives much of the same speech to her that Franco heard, and calls her out for all the damage that was left from her plan. Jordan doesn’t seem to be too broken up about things, as it got the job done.

Related to this, Jordan found out that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was planning to be a donor and basically shut that down. She won’t have him getting behind after a major surgery.

The search goes on, but someone’s not playing along

Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Sonny are still trying to figure out what use a hostage is if no demands are being made. Sonny is determined to get in with the bad guys to get his son out. Robert, wisely, asks what Sonny would do to someone who infiltrated his own organization. The answer “Eliminate them” doesn’t seem to bother Sonny. The way he sees it, Agent Fake Fortune Teller has been a failure so far. Robert thinks he’s got a way to help, but he needs Sonny to stay put until Robert returns. He does to, of course, find Sonny has taken off. I guess no one in the Corinthos house knows the meaning of the phrase “follow directions”…

Lucky break?

Ava Jerome (Maura West) was grabbed just in time to keep her from going down with Not-Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). We’re not sure she feels so lucky right now, though. She’s screaming for Kevin and astonished that no one seems to care about the clearly-sick man who’s just fallen to his likely death. While Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) leaves to find Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Laura Webber (Genie Francis) has the sucky job of trying to convince a distraught woman her love is actually a serial killer. Ava still believes the real Kevin is hers, but that the switch happened sometime in the last couple of days.

She feels that explains the Carly thing, as well as him suddenly wanting to run off to Canada to marry. Laura insists that Not-Kevin has been in control since around late August or early September, so Ava and the real Kevin were never together. This seems to be way too much for Ava to take. She claims that Laura’s just bitter that Kevin left her for Ava, and can’t deal. When the truth finally starts hitting home, Ava has an epic meltdown. We almost feel pity for her. Note the term “almost”. She was, after all, way too uppity about Kevin and wanting to flaunt their relationship in people’s faces. Plus, the drama queen antics that put two people on the killer’s hit list. By the way, Maura’s and Genie’s acting was totally on point, and made their scenes a can’t-miss moment.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) reaches out to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) after her very not-appropriate dream about Julian Jerome (William deVry). She had a bottle of vodka ready to go, but apparently had enough sense about her to reach out for help. She nearly breaks down talking about her attraction to bad Julian, and he helps her to calm herself and get rid of the booze.
