‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers relate that Hayley Chen (Thia Megia) is on a roller-coaster ride, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) wants the truth, and there’s an attack at the DiMera mansion. If you missed the Days of Our Lives spoilers, let’s get you your highlights in today’s Days of Our Lives recap.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Illegal Immigrant Haley To Get Deported, Ciara’s Life In Danger – Shots Fired In Salem!
Hayley starts the episode feeling somewhat hopeful. Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) had told her the judge overseeing her immigration case is fair and him not making a decision right then is a good sign. JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) is relieved to hear this and Hayley seems to be ready to at least listen to him after how he’s tried to help clean up this mess. They head out to the pub, and she actually admits a lot of her mess is her own fault. Plus, he’s very contrite over what happened and obviously hurt by Jack Deverax’s (Matthew Ashford) betrayal. He assures her that no matter what, she’s still got him as a friend here. Justin arrives and cuts the chat short, because he’s learned the judge made a decision. She’s got thirty days to get home. Hayley is completely distraught, and JJ says he’s got a solution—marry him. Will she go for it? We’ll have to see.Â

Elsewhere, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) is desperately begging Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) to cover for her. Tripp was asking her more questions earlier, and she’s terrified that he’ll learn the truth and drop her. And no matter what side you take in the whole immigration issue in general (or Hayley’s case), we think we can all agree that dumping Claire would be the smartest thing Tripp could do. Girl needs help of the Bayview variety. Anyway, while there, Tripp comes by to question Eve. Eve hides Claire, then claims a neighbor was the one who made the call. Tripp realizes that Claire’s story checks out and thanks Eve before leaving.Â
Elsewhere, Jack is granting an interview to Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves), much to Eve’s displeasure. She left early on at Jack’s assurance he can handle Jennifer. Not so much. First off, Jennifer’s claim of being unbiased should have been seen as a lie when she opened with how it feels to ruin a woman’s life for political gain. Talk about a no-right-answer question. Aggressive, too. They end up fighting and Jennifer throws a glass of water in his face before leaving him to stew in his juices. Things don’t get any better for him when Tripp arrives and sees him there. He’s confused Jack is there when he was supposed to be in the bathroom at the hotel while Tripp was there, but he’s too mad to worry about it. He orders Jack out of his section. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) then adds to the anti-Jack chorus when she arrives as well, as he’s called out for using Tripp in such a way. It looks like maybe Jack might be having a moment of guilt, but we’re sure Eve will help brainwash that right out of him. We know a guy over at ABC who’s good with that kind of thing, if she feels she needs help…

Not safe
Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) kiss was interrupted from a blast through the window last time. They dropped to the ground, with Ben covering Ciara. As more gun fire comes through the windows, Ben rushes Ciara into another room, where Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) are. Ben leaves the women with Stefan while he rushes back into the fray. Once things are under control and the cops are on the case, Ben takes a shaken Ciara home. He thinks this is just proof of what he’s saying: she’ll be in danger around him. She calls BS on this and absolutely refuses to be scared off. And Cinners everywhere are relieved. For a second, we were thinking this was going to be yet another obstacle in a series of them that are making this relationship change enough to cause whiplash.
Back at the DiMera mansion, Chloe is far more shaken. She wonders what could have happened if the kids were there, and she can’t live like this. Stefan assures her that he’ll keep his promise to protect her. He’s already got security added to, new measures in place, and the cops’ involvement. We’re hoping one of those measures is installing bullet-proof glass. It probably should have been the top item on the list. #justsaying.Â
