‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Here we go again
John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is freaking out after finding Marlena unconscious and barely alive. He calls for help and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) rush in and take charge. While treating Marlena, they figure out she’s having a severe allergic reaction. They’re all confused, as her only known allergy is penicillin, and there’s no reason Marlena should have come into contact with it. While Marlena is still unconscious, Kayla leaves to check Marlena’s office for anything that may explain what’s going on.

John follows later, after leaving Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) with Marlena. He assists in searching the room, but there is nothing to explain what happened, other than the treats allegedly left by Hayley Chen (Thia Megia). They’re going to get them checked out, and we’re thinking deportation is going to be the least of Hayley’s worries for now. Well… at least until they do a full investigation and find out that’s not Hayley’s handwriting. But then, this is also the Salem PD, so anything can go wrong there.Â
Family feud
Leo has walked in on Diana looking for the hidden proof of Leo’s past sin and shows her he has it now. He tells her all about his talk with John, then demands to know why she would not only let Leo go through hell with his evil fake dad, but to lay the guilt of killing his father on him. He stops himself mid-rant as he realizes the John thing is a lie designed to steal him from Marlena. She admits she does want John, but denies she lied about to him about being Leo’s father. He laughs at her saying he always thinks the worst of her, and holding on to that evidence was to protect him. She admits that she only lied about Leo’s paternity because evil fake dad was there and promised to take care of them, but John was taken. And we have a whole new respect for Greg Rikaart. His acting in these scenes is awesome.Â
More in-fighting
Speaking of family feuds, Brady and Eric are at it again after Brady comes to Eric’s in hopes of getting backup. He wants Chloe and Holly away from Stefan. Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) thinks he should butt out, given how his last attempt at meddling almost got Rex in a shootout. Eric accuses Brady of jealousy and the pair fight it out some more over the Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) situation. Brady warns Rex to keep his eyes on his girl because Eric isn’t to be trusted. Their fight is broken up by the call about Marlena, and Eric and Brady eventually come to something of a truce for Marlena’s sake. At least, they promise to try.Â
Reunited
Now that Leo’s dropped the charges, Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) waste no time in making up for all their lost time. It seems the Soap Gods are dead set against this pair having an uninterrupted happy day, because Will has to rush to the hospital after getting the news about Marlena. Sonny insists on joining him, because he never wants to be away from Will again.Â
Magic and sweet sides.
Stefan’s making another attempt at getting close to Chloe, but is interrupted by Holly screaming. It turns out to just be a nightmare. When Chloe can’t seem to settle her enough to go back to bad, Stefan asks to give it a shot. He shows he’s not even remotely as soulless as people think by handling Holly like a pro. He tells her about his own fake child he doesn’t see anymore, but how he’s still got her in his heart. That love is magic and keeps people that are gone close. Chloe’s impressed (and surprised to learn Stefan grew up in an orphanage as well, where he comforted the other kids), but not enough for another kiss.
